This guy has very smooth and dynamic offensive game. So, can someone please explain why he wasn’t starting with AD, so we can go for a bigger lineup? You know, AR or Dennis/Lonnie/Bron/AD/Bryant? Isn’t that significantly better than 3 small guard lineup?
That's my starting lineup too. Hope we see it soon Really glad TB is stepping up, great for us and for him
this guy can play hope he continues to see minutes even when AD comes back. TB at the 5 with AD at the 4 makes too much sense, so ham of course won't do it
The guy can shoot from outside but I’ve been more impressed with his motor around the basket and dexterity and relentlessness in putting the ball in the basket down low. Plus I think Stu mentioned it (?) …. he’s got great hands.
Great seeing him get back to Wizards level production. Now that he's shaken off all the rust, there is no excuse for Ham not to leave him in the starting lineup when AD returns. His effort, offense, ability to take it to anyone and create a basket for himself in the paint, ability to stretch to the 3 point line AND how hard he runs are all big time winning attributes. Whereas Beverley and DS, well... suck.
That’s the kind of lineup we all wanted: put a young, talented center next to AD. Someone who can stay out of the way when necessary, shoot the 3 here and there, someone with good hands who can catch and finish. And we do have that guy. Yes, he does not play D, but if he did, while having these recent offensive numbers, he’d be commanding 20M+ per season. Same money Turner will get.
yeah, i'd have to see the fit with him and AD versus starters. i think it can work, though. worth trying.
And Hold My Beer Ham still won’t …. watch. Why I’m lobbying for the return of poop on the head gifs. Half seriously.
He's going to get a nice deal next year if he doesn't get hurt. Defense sucks but the dude is an a great offensive center
i don't think he's going to get big cash, tbh. i love what he brings, but he's backup or a spot starter, and teams don't want to blow big FA money on that, particularly at the center spot, and especially when his defense might get him played off the floor in the playoffs. i'm saying this after he made a bunch of plays on offense to help us win a game, but it just is what it is. he doesn't defend well at all in space, and he's not quite strong enough in the base to bother the big boys in the post. all that said, he might command more than we can pay.
this one's not about being cheap (that was probably when we cut him the first time). it's about not having bird rights and him being on a vet min.
