I’ll give credit where credit it’s due, Russ played a really good game vs Orlando.

He played great today. Still should trade him so his expiring isn't wasted however..

He missed the first 20 odd games like they said he would in the off-season. Not sure what you mean by ineffective? For a player returning from injury, he has been fantastic.

He is shooting 56/39/89 from the field and his per 36 numbers are 21/7/4. Last game was the first one where he was allowed to play above that rough 20 min mark and he had 23/8 with 2 assists and 2 steals.

I don’t know why you don’t seem to like him.

I’m not sure if you watch them much, I doubt it. But they’ve got KD protecting the rim mostly and not chasing anyone on the perimeter to protect the Achilles. On top of that they’re getting him in positions where he doesn’t need to create for himself but rather just finish moves.

KD during this recent winning stretch is down to 36 mins a game. And you expect that number to drop to around 34 mins where it had averaged the last 6 games. That’s about in line with his time at Golden State.

Let’s see what happens but I think people are undervaluing how good this team is.

i have no problem with warren; my issue is the obsession with him as a FA alternative for us. we couldn't gamble on another guy who was going to miss, at minimum, a quarter of a season and who isn't a defender. the nets could afford to, great.

i stand by my concerns that getting kd "down to" 36 mpg is pretty damn dangerous. he played 55 games last year and 35 the season prior (after missing the entire season prior to that). he's as much an injury concern as AD, if not more, imo.

Can't finish games with him especially if you stick him as a corner 3 guy.

Last 5 minutes.of the Miami game if he's not in transition: defense is too easy

He is so hit and miss. Bizarre player. He had some unreal layups and passes. OTOH he had 3 to 4 turnovers or bad shots that were so bad that if he was say Troy Brown or Reaves he would be benched for the rest of the game.

The ultimate trick or treat player.

I thought we weren’t going to get any side of the board Russ shots this year, but boy I was wrong.

Seriously: Darvin givin' some of us a panic attack by leaving Russ in with a 3 point lead, very late. He can't stay in front of his man. And when he kept dribbling at the top of the key, then drove, I was sitting by myself, watching, yelling at the TV, "Pass it!" Then he shoots, and all I can picture is a brick that caroms off the backboard. 'Cuz it's crunch and this is where he's at his very worst. He shoots. Me: "Nooooo!" and it goes in. Me: "Yesssss." "We're up by 5 now."
