i read it. it's garbage. that many words, all the comparisons to dirk and td, and not one mention of lebron engineering the russ trade and signing a massive extension--two things dirk and td didn't do and why their teams were competitive and lebron's isn't.

if lebron had just stuck to his role, he'd be on a competitive team. and again, he'll probably miss 25-30 games total before it's all done this year, too (malone and stockton were still iron men until the end).

the national press can eat a big one, as far as i'm concerned. lebron's fingerprints are all over his demise.

If AD needs surgery, Bron will play to break Cap's record and call it a season.

yeah, he'll suffer another "lingering groin injury" like he did in 18-19

Taking shots at LeBron because his co-star can't stay on the court? Surprising elsewhere, not on here.

Lebron has his issues, but AD being hurt all the time isn't his fault. We can't win consistently without AD. Can't blame him for pushing for the AD trade tho...we got a chip out of it. Hopefully AD will be back and looking awesome again by February. The West is pretty mediocre this season, we can still make a run.

i blame him for brokering the russ trade and then signing an extension at above his market value. the latter is his right, but don't expect me to weep with the nation at his misfortune. he made the bed. all of it.

Again...he and AD playing in 21 games together last season was the problem. Even with a bunch of old dudes, that team could have made a playoff run. The West was pretty mediocre last season too.

We made our bed, hitching our wagon to this Lebron/AD duo, it is what it is. I am definitely not knocking him for getting paid.

AGAIN .... had nothing to do with the never not evident <<< consistently crap side of Russ's play last year which was a SEPARATE issue. Just like it is this year when they were playing and would mean a shallow not deep playoff run with not enough other quality depth to be able to sit him in the times he should sit. Due to his salary.

No. The players Westbrook got traded for wouldn't have saved last season or this one either. You can't win in this league without your best players being available period. They all looked like complete crap against Phoenix in the playoffs didn't they?
Quality depth, good defense, balanced roster etc, those things are secondary to having your best players on the court. The Lakers are the ultimate example of this.

Also said something stupid about not squandering any of our previous stars prime years including Kobe. Lost all credibility right there, and didn’t bother reading further

    Good read.

LeBron is in uncharted waters now performance wise at his age. The front office extended him so we have to hope his game doesn’t just fall off a cliff.

I think he can keep putting up numbers but I can’t see his body holding up.
