At this point my bar and expectation is lower, especially when in context with the task ahead. Alert, active, limited plays off.

I don't look for or expect him to control the paint against Joker and co when AD is out in a game in December.

And against Jeff Green? Or all those back cuts from Gordon?

Come on, man. That was awful even by the lowered standards we apply to "GOAT".

You know Bron can't risk being caught in one of those posters by Sr Citizen Green. Swear every 2-3 games he'll rise up and baptize someone. And Gordon's got too much pop in those calves, he's not catching him.

Wasn't trying to get controversial in my take. Didn't think he was awful defensively. He's looked awful plenty this year. He's looked completely checked out on that end plenty this year. Didn't see that tonight. Saw a few positives that helped the team. You disagree. Cool. Let's just enjoy the win before we jump back on the Bron needs to retire wagon.

he must have been better in the second half, because for the part of the game i watched, it looked like jeff green and lebron had switched bodies.

And I was worried that he was completely washed earlier this year.

I hate final play Bron. It rarely results in good things.

Had to have his offense tonight though.

Ironically Lebron with a sloppy turnover ended up saving us from the inevitable last second contested fadeaway brick, maybe we gotta try that more often in late game situations!

It was stupid of the Wizards to keep doubling Lebron. They must not have been scouting him lately...

Overall very good game for him though.

Huh, does anyone know where Pelinka even is? I’ve only seen like a photo of him since media day.

might as well just rest him tomorrow

with no AD and now reaves/walker hurt, it'll be a blowout win for the suns

at least it wasn't a passive aggressive response

Skilly redirected to be all about him and his preparation. Good narcissisting vs bad organizational bashing.

it was a fair response. if he provides any answer at all, he's playing gm. i don't think saying "not my job" is a dig. it's the truth. him doing not his job is why he's going to have to strap a team on his back to try to win games against tanking teams.

Except he isn’t. The nights his shot are on, he looks great. The nights it isn’t, he can’t drive and his defence is poor.

AD was playing like an MVP.

If he played like he has since coming back from injury the whole year he would be but his first 10 games were so brutal it brings him down.
