Of course he needs to meet with all 7 teams first but I believe he's done with all 7 by Thursday. That's why I said it would be nice if we are hearing reports this weekend.
Someone said if it wasn't for SA, the Lakers would have a shot, but LA is going to the Spurs. This was the response.
Maybe we move Randle+Black+Young future draft pick for Boogie. Hence the Nance pickup in the first round? Sign LMA on a short deal with player option to extend in 2016? Russell Clarkson Kobe LMA Boogie
I'm surprised no one predicts a big going to Portland. When LMA leaves, they're going to have a vault of cash to throw at someone. There's worse situations than playing along side Lillard.
Woj on FoxSports1 basically just said we will provide some competition to the Spurs. Didn't sound like we were serious contenders for him, saying it will probably come down to Portland and the 5th year (was told they are not out) or Spurs.
How about we sign Aldridge for max, then sign Biyombo (or DJ, or Chandler) for one year for 3mil with the promise that we take care of him next year. This is where our record for keeping promises and taking care of players we promise a good contract comes back to help us.
Bolch also admitted that the source of this information was not coming from the Lakers. So it could be a ploy by LMA's agent to strengthen their negotiation position.
That is what it really is... Real talk. Win now with San Antonio albeit they will be gutted like a fish with two main players just about ready for the glue factory. Or a max contract with the Lakers leading a promising and precociously talented kiddie brigade. Or just go back to Portland...Rip City continued.
This is a few days old (not sure if it was posted). Basically, LMA thinks this whole ESPN thing is nonsense. All the reports are nonsense and unreliable. http://www.blazersedge.com/2015/6/2...umors-news-neil-olshey-portland-trail-blazers
Not convinced...even if it pains Bolch to write it. Free agency is what it is... Ego Massage Theater. Here's a thought...a competent player at the 3 spot, Randle runs wild at the 4 and a center who wants to throw his weight and opponents around?
I want this Ive flip flopped on it because diff situations arise but Plan A was always lamarcus if we sign him i think we definitely need to sign biyombo to complement him especially because he doesnt wanna play C Plam b should be deandre Plan c ed davis Signing aldridge and biyombo instantly makes our bench MUCH better Starters Russ Clarkson Kobe LA Biyombo Bench PG Brown Young/Nance Randle Black/upshaw And we could play around with the lineups randle and la could play together against faster lineups and bring biyombo off the bench Aldridge/biyombo would make us very versatile
What he most likely wants is the 5th year form Portland and to be traded to a team that he thinks can win in those 5 years. If he can't get that he may just take the 5 and be happy with the extra $$ Maybe that's why SA hasn't purged the roster. Trading for him would be a mistake IMHO. Trading for Cousins would be one too. Either to do it slow (which I think they want no part of) or you go huge. They've gone huge before and dug us a two year hellhole. Did that cure them or just delay them?
Yeah, I don't believe it. On a side note, I really love Olshey. If LMA even departs, they'll be fine. Olshey is great at doing his job...
