Thanks that was great. Brown is a smart kid. What else would we expect from a Stanford player. Mad Dog should like him. But wow with both Russell and Nance. Both are impressive. DAR has "IT" no doubt, really liked his confident answers, will handle the Media well .... even dumb questions. Plus Kobe will teach him. Nance Jr. Who isn't excited to see this kid get out there and play from everything we've seen and heard about his elite athleticism and blue collar attitude. Have a feeling about this guy. Nice too with the 4 years of college experience behind him and Brown.

    Let's Do This!

After hearing how everything went with the tweet for him I kind of feel in peace with this guy. Looks like a guy we can really use in this locker room and hopefully he can stay healthy and just be that Hansbrough (or however he's called) type of dude for us.

That would be Psycho T. Yeah definitely that's the game he seems to play or wants to play.

I'll continue to call him "Mr Bryant" and "Sir" until he tells me to call him "Kobe."

    Love it.

I'm starting to feel a little bad for Nance Jr. feeling he has to eat therealdeal's proverbial whole "family of crows" over this. I mean after all at that point, or that trip, we're not talking about "Saint Kobe" here. I don't think he needed to do this part. But whatever. The kid really wants to do good here.

Good of Nancey to man up about it. Time for him to move on...sling some 'bows, get floor-burns and skins he has to get under.

I'm already over that whole tweet, 19 year olds say the dumbest things and we were all 19 once. He spoke to Mr. Bryant almost immediately and he forgave Nance. If Kobe's over it we all should be too.

He's done everything he needed to do to clear the air. Talked to the FO, Kobe, the media, the fans. Apologized and is moving forward. As should we.

If Kobe can forgive, all the fans should too, easily at that.

Dang, he's a good dude. 19 or not it was a bad first impression, he knows that, and I'm glad he's apologizing like this. I like the kid, I think he's gonna have a great season, and I'm looking forward to it.

Doesn't change your point but he's 22 or 23. Was a senior last year.

I didn't care about the tweet when it was first reported, but then I saw a video after his workout where he talked about how he'd love to play with Kobe and something about it seemed fake. And then he comes to the press conference dressed like a bum. I honestly felt it was disrespectful and I had a bad feeling about him.

But then I heard him talk and my concerns have been eased for the most part. He said all the right things, and I think/hope his dressing style reflects the blue collar approach he takes to basketball. I mostly believe that he felt terrible about the incident and that it was just a stupid joke that backfired ... but part of me just doesn't fully believe it yet. Something about his demeanor prevents me from fully trusting him. It's like the things that he said were TOO correct of an answer. But even then, that's fine. Worst case, he's a smart businessman who knows what he has to say to the media in order to get on the good side of his fan base (which hopefully will include him laying it all out on the court). Most likely, I'm just flat out wrong about how I'm reading his personality, and he's actually just a good kid.

Now you got me thinking, because the tweet and his somewhat creepy face gave me all the bad vibes in the beginning. Haha, just kidding I'm over it.

He's a Capricorn and they are driven to the extreme. They'll do whatever it takes to succeed! He may very well be saying all the right things to do just that. I'm no body language expert but I felt he was genuine in the presser today and that apology tweet afterwards. Capricorns can be devious and manipulative, but deep down they have good hearts. No doubt, this dude will bring it.
