Anthony Davis Discussion: Only Player On Both All NBA + All Def

Also anyone that has played at a competitive level knows you can't wait to get hot. You have to go fight every second of every game. You can't take half the game off. Make things happen. Go back and watch the all time greats. They didn't wait to get hot. Things weren't going their way they got mean and nasty and made things go their way. Barkley and Bird were good examples. Force a few shots, pick up fouls going for offensive rebounds, get after teammates not performing. I want gut it out tough performances that generate wins when not at your best. Don't accept losing. I think that is how you gain confidence in yourself and how your teammates get confidence in you. We need someone to drag the team with them. Right now AD is the only one capable of doing that and he isn't. He is a really good player but if we are going to build around him going forward he needs to be great. I don't question his talent but I do have some doubt about his desire to go next level. If he can be great then build around him, if not we need to start looking for who we can build around. Maybe he is doing all these things behind closed doors but I'm not seeing it on the court.

 

Too bad we couldn’t trade LeBronze for Dame. I would love to see AD and Lillard together.

Awful for the Lakers and guarantees the Warriors are in the Finals for the next three seasons.
If it’s not Dame, I want a younger star back for AD. Otherwise, I’m keeping him.

yeah. it's been clear forever. he needs to play the 4 except to close games and halves. that's how you do it with players like him. that's how we won a title. the full-time 5 stuff was always just to try and cover for the russ trade. all roads lead to the russ trade, really.

guessing that by december, we may finally get to see the right lineups out there, 3 months too late.

didn't help that jones was junk and bryant got hurt immediately, so there wasn't really an option at c.

 

AD doesn't want to play the five. Either put him at the four or trade him so I don't have to look at this anymore.. ughh...lol.
