Redoing the 2016 draft, Ingram is the better player, we got it right. Simmons is literally scared of the hoop, I’ve never seen anything quite like it, he barely even tries to take layups, and he doesn’t even pretend to attempt outside shots

it's definitely gone that way. though we didn't have the choice. ours was between ingram and brown, really. and while some would pick brown--and i understand it--ingram was still a good, obvious choice at #2.

simmons has disappointed, but i still believe he can be useful. just won't live up to #1.

I’m just pissed we get a buhgillion #2 picks, then the nanosecond we’re good, Luka and Ja come around.

    the yips in basketball

    never thought I'd see it

Playing with Embied really does cause PTSD. Or maybe it was Har'en.

I think Simmons will basically be useless like Nick Anderson missing those FTs in the Finals. Never be the same again like suffering PTSD.

i've been simmons supporter, but he needed to come out of the gate better than he has. he's in an optimal situation and isn't delivering. and yes, it's in his head.

that said, he's one of the best defenders in the league, and there's still value there. one of the only guys i've seen doncic try to get screens to separate from (and avoid screens with his man involved).

Just saw Moses Malone died at the age of 60. Found unresponsive I think. RIP Big Guy. He was the very first to jump straight from HS to the NBA.

Were you thinking of someone else? He died in 2015.

Lol, I was just curious if maybe someone else died and you accidentally put the wrong name. Anyway, on another note I enjoy watching the Nets go down, this was fun

I'm just happy that the Lakers aren't in this ****storm. I mean we have our drama, but it's pretty much relegated to just basketball stuff.

    Yep, I love those guys.
That's why I value Pat more than the rest of the folks here.

We tend to think that sports are only what is played in the field and define good/bad players based in stats. It's much more than that
