Of course a thumb's more important but Kobe just blew off forever fixing one finger tendon so as not to miss any regular season time that year.
RE-EVALUATED after 3 weeks... we have last season's Ariza in Troy Brown and last season's Nunn in Schroeder
Well, this is great news considering Nunn is still "cruisin' with the bruisin'" and not being particularly useful.
I haven't changed my mind on this: he actually seems like a better fit for this year's team than 2 years ago. Could really use a guy who can create 1v1 especially against switches.
He's small though on defense and aside from annoying opposing PGs on ball will probably get hunted with switches.
maybe some, but lots of teams play pgs his size for much of the game. he's not much smaller than bevs. i think it will depend on a) how he looks in practice and b) how we're doing as a team. if we string together some wins, he'll have to just stay outside the rotation, i think. if we drop a few more, i could see him inserted as a starter in place of bevs.
Those two should be hell for every team's 2nd unit too. Our bench could potentially be a strong force as the season goes along. Dennis and Russ would be an excellent backcourt, put some guys out there with them that can run the floor, and we'll have a potent bench mob.
