I like how Pat Bev grabbed him to cool him off after the shot though we all know if it was Beverley who hit the shot he'd be doing cartwheels over to the announcer's table where he'd steal a microphone and proclaim that cyrpto.com is to be known as PatBev Arena.

Dang sirron, sounds like you “missed” his unbelievable money shot to tie/save the game as the clock ran out in regulation. Incredible ….. we’re down 3 with 1.7 seconds left and Pels have 2 FTs.

And the kid who threw him the tremendous pass had his own incredible Hero shot experience to win that game last season.

that Gringo to Gringo play for the win was something
I saw it, but I liked what I saw in the first half too. I'm glad we kept going to him. But I felt no need to go back and edit the original post. I was right, after all, but it came sooner than expected.

    Was a great shot.

Credit goes to Rob for giving this guy a s*** and bringing him in and Ham finding a role for him and actually playing him.

Credit to Ryan for making the most of his opportunities. Great shot. As silly @# it sounds, that loss would have been defeating mentally.

Glad we pulled that one out.

He hit the same kind of shot from the same location with the buzzer beater to close the first quarter and Lonnie to close the 1st half on the opposite side (or was that Troy?). Along with Reaves’s …. LOTS of young Big Balls on the roster.

That would have been a horrible loss and totally LeBron’s fault for playing totally off script, ball pounding, hero ball down the stretch and he would have owned none of it. That kind of s*** will be a delicate dance for Ham to deal with when it shows up.

It's been a delicate dance with WB, too. Ham was able to get buy-in for now.

Let's hope he can do the same with LBJ.

Coach Ham is nearing in converting me into a believer, with how he handled Russ this past few games, he turned garbage into a less smelly version of garbage. Now if can do something about LeBron pounding the rock for 23 seconds or less of PatBev, we’re in business.

Ham’s gut instinct looks golden this game which is a rare trait reserved for all time greats like Pjax and Riley

he needs time, imo. i was getting frustrated with him not moving russ to the bench, but he got there and seems to have done it in a way that didn't upend everything. that's a neat trick. he's got others to pull, as you mention, and those will take time, too.

i think there's a path to 10-10 after 20 games, but there might be some more bumps on that road. our next few games are still rough--with a trap game at home vs. utah next.

i mean, he clearly had and maybe has some sort of substance issue, right? so inconsistent.

edit: just realized this is the ryan thread. keep proving me wrong, champ!
