Hopefully everyone can see the importance of that outside threat now. Teams know Matt can shoot. It goes way beyond making a couple threes. They had a defender glued to him opening up the court for everyone else. Double teams disappear and driving lanes open up. Made offense easier for everyone and changed the course of the game. He also was very active on defense. Not going to belabor the point bc it is so obvious but the more you have that shooting threat out there if it isn't hurting you defensively the better.
