Damn that looks like a lot of learning. I wonder how many of these guys come close to remembering and executing anywhere near all of it in games.

Russ would impede upon that greatly.

haha, so much for "holding everyone accountable"

ham talked a big game in the offseason and (predictably) hasn't stuck with it

depends what constitutes a "play". in high school, we probably had about 5-6 general sets off of which there were various options that could be termed "plays" with a liberal definition.

we probably only had about 4-5 sideline and baseline OB plays, but it makes sense for teams to have more of those at the pro level.

can't stress enough that at any level i've seen, called plays that involved pre-dictated motions by all players were fairly rare. i actually got to call the plays as pg, but it was really just calling a set and maybe a direction of entry. after that, it was read and react.

i think some fans who never played imagine basketball plays like football plays. but they're just not very comparable.

Another great move of the off season by the FO. Stotts was available, a highly competent strategist with a winning percentage of 51 % coaching mediocre teams and we went with a 10 year assistant who hasn’t shown s*** to coach LeBron in his last legs, we should have not fired Luke Walton if we wanted that s***.

would like to hear ham's reasoning for not making a change. i guess he could argue we are very close to being 2-1 with a difficult schedule, but i'd argue that being that close is actually a good reason to change. a small tweak could mean a big difference.

he's still acting like the long-term health of the team depends on getting russ to play well with the starters. but that ship sailed last year.

Agreed. I can't think of anything that would make sense. Maybe he has something.

    Yes. A severe case of pants-on-fire-itis and got-my-gig-gonna-shut-the-hell-up-itis... He underwent a principle-ctomy and pride-putation.

I personally has not been impressed even one bit. And I don't think defense is his doing. I think it's a combo of AD and Bron suddenly giving a s***.

    Vogel died for this s***...
