He tweaked his hamstring because he came off the bench! C'mon give me a break....get this guy out of here. This will go down as the worst trade in Lakers history.

I get the routine thing, but especially as you get older. But some of that is just an excuse for not wanting to change your preparation regimen. He may just have to get over that.

He's just a terrible fit for this team even when you really can't blame the defeat directly on his play. The indirect effects such as the reverse gravity he created negates the positives of AD and Lebron

I agree with the general sentiment that he was OK and how ridiculous it is that "ok" is the bar for a $47m player. We can't and won't be able to compete with teams if this is where we're at.

20 more games of this? Season is over by that point. Not sure why he was back in the rotation as a starter. He doesn't understand where to go on offense in this "fit in" role he's trying. That will be the case as long as he's starting and trying to play Ham's way. At least with the bench unit, there's a slim chance he can QB the unit, play free, and we can try to get a tiny return on our money. Right now, his role is filled by 15 vet min players throughout the league. He's the 5th option out there and is told to do the little things and get out of the way.

And can we tell him he doesn't have to talk to he media after the games? The I got hurt because I came off the bench is a crock of s***. It's the same bit he used when Vogel benched him last year.

again, i actually do believe that shifting to the bench is a change that your body needs to get used to.

but the answer is to get used to it, mfer.

If he handled it differently or we didn't have this history with him, maybe I give him the benefit of the doubt. It's nothing new or rare and dozens of players make that adjustment every year and you don't hear this s*** fall out of their mouth. Oh yeah, and he's still taking home $47m this year whether he starts or sits on his couch or in the stands next to fans.

I never see him communicating with his teammates, the only time he does is when he's mad at the refs. His body language on the bench , looks like he doesn't want anyone to bother him, he should be gone because of his attitude,, he doesn't want to shrink his role in a contract year, he's wants another big pay day

Mostly unwatchable basketball. Who knows, maybe they can pull it together. But expecting Brick to change seems like an exercise in futility.

Just like to throw this out there but Steph Curry came off the bench in round 1 of the playoffs last year to ramp up from injury. Slightly different but yeah...

I watched nearly all of game 1. Missed a good chunk of the 1st quarter, and signed off mid 4th quarter :)

The game was delayed 30-45 minutes due to the ring ceremony. Wouldn't that, in a way, breaking his routine?

Ha, agreed! I'm just done with this experiment. Send him home, admit it's the worst trade in franchise history because this type of energy surrounding a team is a virus. It has spread throughout the locker room.

why endure unnecessary pain when this is supposed to be entertainment. It's not entertaining to see blowouts.

Why are we babysitting this man’s ego? I thought he’s on a short leash and Ham was empowered to bench him.
