    Lotsa talk about how Russ coming off the bench with the 2nd unit could work. I (and a LOT of you) doubted it would make a difference.

    Sample size: small: he bricked 2 3FGAs, had two turnovers, then pulled a hammy. Gee, I wonder if the hammy will get "aggravated" and "take longer than we thought at first"?

    Ho-lee-craparoo, chums: the diva drama this year is gonna be excruciating.

    On a personal note: I thought I'd "get over" that he's guaranteed $47,000,000 this year no matter what. I will not, it turns out, get over this. Wait'll we start out 1-6!

    that's fine...just keep him out long enough to justify trying other starting lineups in real games.

    in fact, strategically, i might sit him until after our brutal part of the early schedule is over. that way when he returns from the bench maybe we snag a couple wins and everyone agrees it's great!
