I expected that bank to hit the side of the backboard.

It will happen at Staples err Crypto when he starts feeling the pressure of the home crowd. Please trade him, I still have hope a move can be made - he actually makes sense for teams like Indiana. Wembenayama (sp?) tank is calling

to me, he makes a ton of sense in san antonio, but we've barely heard a peep about them.

Pop and Russ seem like an interesting combination and I think they’d really work. They have the Olympic connection too and pop has spoken very highly of Russ before. Maybe as a three team trade?

i've posted a couple possibilites, and i agree that pop and russ would get along. SA needs to spend some money and has no pg right now and few veterans. it's a great fit, imo.

Didn’t someone speculate what an offer from the Spurs would be for Russ or something? In like a 3-Team or somewhere. Part of me would like to go back to a 3-Team with Indy, but a straight deal with the Spurs might be fun.

just can’t remember if there was an offer once from SA

If Russ isn’t willing to come off the bench, let him pout his way to another team.

only thing i saw was that we weren't interested in richardson/mcdermott/poeltl. but i doubt that. my guess is we weren't interested in that plus two picks from us.

there are numerous three-team deals that land russ in SA, give us a useful player or two, and don't cost 2 1sts, imo.

there is no f***ing way he is on this team. You don't trade for Beverly and get Schroeder??!! and Keep Westbrook.

I mean are the Lakers going to experiment with tiny ball: run out WB, Bev, Schroeder, and Nunn lineups? This is a complete WTF unless he's moved

I keep replying in the flow of conversation in the Schroder thread that I think Russ is gone. Trade to San Antonio or Utah or (hopefully not) a buyout which as abeer pointed out would suck for not getting any needed quality talent back in return.

that's either weird reporting or weird internal dynamics. we signed the best player available (by a longshot) to a vet min. sorry he plays your position better than you do. the job's still up for grabs if you want to stop being a d***.

It's not great that he is that delicate and they're concerned about him pouting over it. What other team has to call a hall of Famer to warn him of roster competition with the 14th guy on the roster?
