    bah.

daddy's reluctance to bestow upon his son the proper shooting mechanics tells me that, even from an early age, he saw little potential.

if only he'd gone into masonry...

I am sure the discussion here is hilarious except I don't get any of the reference to the 46 vert, masonry, or gloves.:(

Well dang..... they didn't really bring up any major weaknesses so that's a great starting point for our player development guys. Does a shooting coach mess with the poor left hand form at this stage of his career? Seems to me but what do I know, that you leave the right alone cause it's good, and yeah fix the left in some way that doesn't mess him up?

There's a separate video for his weaknesses:

Obviously I'm biased now because he's a Laker, but the weaknesses don't really concern me too much. The only one that really is a bad sign is his lack of feel for the game. Everything else is a correctable behavior and he seems like a coachable kid. Shooting mechanics are a little weird, but the shooting arm looks good. Hammering home consistent shooting motions just takes reps and practice.

Honestly he looks a little Draymond Green-ish. Defensive guy, good size and length, athletic when he's got room to jump, and he does all the little things. He's got great role player written all over him if he works hard enough.

This was measured at 46 inches. From what I recall, though, previous max verts had 2 steps. Lavine got to run.

Even though I know Byron said it, he comes from an era where guys were said to have 48-inch verticals and no one was around to check. That said, I'll take a 9'0" standing reach and a 37.5" vert any day of the week. That's over 12'. The top of the backboard is 13'.

Kobe's going to come into training camp with #rapist on the back of his jersey. Imagine the look on Nance's face :D

That's Zach Lavine from last year that's in the photo. What I'm saying is Nance's vertical could have measure out higher if they Lakers gave him a running start...

I saw somewhere that he crushed the vertical at the combine. He had the 2nd tallest mark since 09 at 12'1" or so.
