He got injured during preseason last year and we're a month away from preseason again... a whole year of ramping up slowly
That was the season I joined Clublakers and it was a rude awakening to me how unfairly and harshly fans spoke of players, often. Including being called garbage. Fans doing what armchair warriors do.
Mihm had that ankle fixed with metal plates. You knew right away it was bad, especially for a guy who relied on athleticism to block shots and finish oops. Nunn had... bone bruise. Come on. It can't take this long. I don't understand how he is "ramping up slowly". If he gained 60 lbs while being sidelined I'd understand, but he looks like he's in great shape.
What if he’s unable to play this season due to mental health reasons because fans are so harsh? ya’all better lighten up a bit. (Looks in mirror)
Nunn disputing the reports about his “slow ramp up”, so hopefully that’s a good sign. Going back and reading that original report from earlier in the week, feels like that was just poor wording from Buha about his limited perspective of Nunn’s workouts. I’m not sure he realized the optics of that wording would have people question if Nunn is still hurt.
Starting to think Buha really much of an insider and just the Lakers reporter for The Athletic… dude has been wrong a lot this offseason.
Buha is a reporter that just pieces things together like the rest of us and just goes off the rumour mill at LA. He doesn’t have any real inside sources.
People just swing in the dark and hope they hit once in awhile. Then they can say they told you so and hope you forget about the other 99%...lol
eh, he probably talks to people who know things. the problem is that leaks are generally strategic, so "inside" information is not always 100% factual. it's pretty rare that someone finds out something they weren't supposed to AND divulges it. they risk losing access.
"That Guy"/picker of nits that I am ..... not the new weather peeps. Satellites and modern tools at their disposal, it's pretty accurate 7-10 days out these days.
