aside from kyrie, the best part about a kyrie for russ trade would be watching russ and simmons play together

holy s*** imagine how amazing that'd be. two of the absolute lowest IQ players i can think of playing together at the same time

 

Why do you say Ben is low IQ? He's a terrible shooter, but I think he's very good in everything else.
If he develops a shot, like Giannis, he can be a legit top10/5 player

 

agree. haven't seen evidence simmons has low hoop iq, really the opposite. he's just not a great shooter and has let that hurt him a bit more than it should. jkidd was a bad shooter early in his career, but he still took the shots because he knew he needed to in order to keep the offense moving sometimes.

i still think simmons can recover and be an allstar caliber player again.

if i were bkn, i'd take this opportunity to try and build around him and see what happens. having kd and kyrie abandon you gives you a chance you wouldn't have had otherwise in this regard.

not only is it their best shot, they can't get panned for it if it fails! the other stars left us, so we had to make do as best we could!

i think simmons is lonzo ball but in a pf's body. it's imperfect, but you can work with it.

my latest thought on russ is: god help me if he gets traded, cut, and then shows up on a rival in a bench role committed to defense.
