Apparently he isn’t very athletic and a non factor on the offensive end. I suppose as a 3rd stringer you look to develop he is fine. But Stan better be above him in the pecking order.

I see not a midget, not old and looks like he’s decent? Can he play defense better than very apparently (according to Cranjis) … his BFF Walker can’t?

Like a cheaper version of Otto Porter Jr? But healthier?

Similar on the defensive end in their profile, but Otto Porter Jr is the better defender and more athletic. Big difference is Troy Brown isn't a good shooter and Otto is.

you think current otto porter is more athletic than brown? i'm not sure. much better shooter, though.

we'll see what porter signs for and if he's a) healthy and b) similarly impactful outside of GS.

The fact that it’s a question tells you that Brown Jr just isn’t that athletic. He is decently smart though, and tries hard on D. He is an ok backup, just like Toscano. On a good team both are 3rd stringers.

you said porter was more athletic as a point in his favor; now you're saying that if he's not, it doesn't matter because neither is?

My initial comment was that Troy Jr isn’t athletic at all. Watching video on him and seeing Otto Porter Jr this year, I’d say Otto is still the more athletic one. But that’s hard to prove tangibly.

Regardless, Otto is a marginally better defender and a considerably better shooter.
