Agree and have said the same that he’ll be shocked at what his worth is on the open market if he can’t do the things required of him again this year or the bad attitude surfaces again and he gets demoted to the bench or sent home. If he thinks LA turned on him last year look the hell out Russ and no one is going to support him. So hopeful. And for our benefit he’s advantageously traded at the deadline. If the “challenge” to play winning basketball by doing well what is asked of him … then hell yeah ride with him all year and he will be on a short leash should it be needed. Do it Ham. Do it Russ. Prove it was Vogel’s fault and you’re still a “star” talent.

:Kobe Snickering: …. c’mon man don’t be purposely vague …. how do you really feel if you want him gone that bad?

Hopefully Pelinka learns from this mistake of letting Lebron dictating the team direction, unless it was out of his hands and let Jeanie gave the go ahead or any other person with higher authority to pull the trigger on WestBRICK

This assumes Russ is self aware and I don’t believe he is. He’s made excuses for his play, hasn’t taken responsibility and has bad body language on top of it. As they say…..the player is the last one to know.

Agreed.. he's ignorant, narcissistic and flat out disrespectful.

If he were simply an aging superstar who didn't fit in and was showing considerable decline I wouldn't be hateful at toward the guy, sure I'd be disappointed but the resentment he's literally forced fans to feel toward him and his ego is all his own fault.

Except after any of his ridiculous bricks such as off the top of the backboard from like 20 feet out. You know the one .... that stupid little hop into the air he does to signify "what" I have no idea. Oooops? Welp? No biggie? Damn that was close ... 3 feet lower and I'm money to keep shooting it early in the shot clock?

Every time when i tried to jump as high as i could during a jumper, the results were similar, a brick. Tone it the f*** down.

Agree. Seemingly no consistency in height of his elevation, considering how much he has available to him, or where in that up and down motion he releases it, might be the problem. And I still love Js where players actually JUMP. Similar thing with once he has juked past or blown past a defender to get up to easy lay up position, his brain seems to be getting worse as to figuring out the touch he needs for approach speed.

Kobe and MJ didn't just jump on their Js. To get the added edge in being difficult to defend they jumped at backward angle often. It was crazy to see Kobe do that behind the arc. The strength required.

Just read the last 70 or so posts here, and, all-in-all, I see nothing working with Russ, he pouts, he acts like everything's fine, he blames everyone but himself, and then, around December 10th, he gets benched and the Lakers are as bad as they were last year, but...ladies and gentlemen...watch the Lakers as Lebron James marches toward passing Kareem as the all-time scoring leader! (And maybe they make the play-in, but...Pfffffffffft!)

Skip is going to retire with Lebron. 80 percent of his content is somehow Lebron related directly or indirectly.

You can't play victim in the press when you treat the press like your victims.

Still learning lessons I see RW.....

Don’t worry, we likely will get to see more of it next season!

Good guy Westbrook, such an amusing character. Glad he’s our PG!
