@abeer3 I remember some talk show with Rose, the one with Broussard, not really feeling it for the Warriors saying Russell fit their offense better

I still think you underrate Wiggins. I’d argue he won GS two finals games and has played like an all star (mind you I still agree a lower tier all star). But his level of defence, shooting and athleticism downs grow on trees. I suppose that’s why I also like Bridges and probably over rate him too.

in a vacuum? starting from scratch? not me. morant's a force of nature on offense. i thought memphis was a better team than boston this year, too.

only because he's hurt. i'd take healthy AD over anyone in the league save those young perennial mvp candidates.

right. that's how i always thought of it, which is why i didn't think anyone panned the wiggins trade.

hmm...i'm sure with everyone having to talk all day about sports, all takes were possible. i just don't recall everyone being like "wtf", which happens with some trades.

i think you like 3 and d wings more than i do. if wiggins was paid what bridges is paid and bridges was paid what kuzma is paid, i'd be on your side. bridges is paid like a third star and is a 5th starter/glue guy extraordinaire imo, and wiggins is a third star on a good day but paid max money. i value him similarly to jrue holiday (whom i like quite a bit).

and this will be unpopular, but curry does more to impact winning when he's missing all 9 attempts than most guys do when they hit half of them. boston was faceguarding him so far from the basket that your offense essentially gets to play a different game than other teams play. in other words--curry wins gs all their games, as evidenced in their lackluster performance when he was hurt in the latter part of the year. hell, it was just a game ago that he had to drag the whole lot of them from the edge of the abyss.

C Bags will win game 6 and then it's a matter of who steps up when the chips are down in game 7.

HAH! It's what they do. Went looking for the old gif with couple of Lakers staring and laughing up at the empty expected C-bag championship banner, but failed. That's going to smart having to be taken off big chunk of his arm if doesn't happen.

a shaq team vs a curry team would be really interesting. with the way the game is officiated now, you probably have to go with curry's team?

it's so hard to play a center who can't play on the perimeter on either end now.

KD was the only reason the cavs didn't win 3 straight titles. 4 if kyrie/love don't miss the finals in '15

    There, I feel better now.

But on the real side, that's the first time I've heard that take. Too many if, ands or buts for me on that one.

hope the warriors can get it, but with how boston's role players have stepped up all playoffs, i don't see them losing the closeout at home.
