they're going to have to really mothball curry like SA did with duncan as his career progressed, but they're well-positioned to contend for a long time because they have poole, kuminga, moody, and wiseman who can either develop or be traded. wiggins can be traded for more value now than they gave up for him, too.

i feel like they're well-managed and will be a title threat for as long as curry is able to go in the playoffs.

post-curry will be the real test, though. SA has sorta failed the post-duncan test, but they don't have the deep pockets and market advantage that GS does.

klay and the ball puncher aren't doing a whole lot, and they're tied in the finals. i think you're selling them short. it's a system and a culture. curry at the top makes it work, but i think they know the kind of guys to fill around him, and they can get them.

unfortunately all good things comes to an end . Steph goes so does this team.. anything short of winning this title is a massive failure for gs I can’t really buy into the whole it’s the system and culture thing . They said the same about us , no worries, Kobe retires other stars will come to LA and winning continues, because we are an attractive destination to win . But hey you never know gs might actually sign LBJ and keep winning .

i think literally no one said that about us? our culture and system has sucked for many, many years. it sort of sucked even during the title years. our ability to attract top-shelf talent has been our thing.

SA and GS both built organizational cultures conducive to long-term winning, even with some rotation in personnel.

we don't disagree that curry's a linchpin, but i don't think they'll crater like we did after kobe. SA didn't after duncan, either. they're just not as good. they were still better than us last year, though. because culture.

And how many titles did SA win after Duncan left ?

both SA/ Gs were fortunate enough to find 3 player whom mesh together and won . All 5 titles for SA was delivered by Duncan/ Manu/ Parker … those 3 were the whole system . There will never be another Steph / Klay/ draymond … just like there will never be another trio of manu/ Parker / Duncan… they also added guys like horry .. that’s a winning line up .

there is a reason SA/ gs we’re both doormats until help arrived… after having so many yrs with David Robinson.Sean Elliot and DR as good as they were, but never won anything.

I don't care who's injured or who's lucky. GS just need to win today and one more after that. Then this season can be put to rest comfortably.

12 point leads in the NBA now are like 6 point leads before 2015. Big leads are 30 point leads.

Looney missed a wide open layup that would've put GS up 13 and Boston comes right back to start cutting into the lead
