I’d like to be wrong but it won’t make you right for defending his refusal and inability to do it all last season. Like I said yesterday if he’s still here he can pin it all on this season’s coaching staff by changing it all around, if he was smart. Which he is not, as evidenced by exactly how he played this season. Am hoping Ham can get this turd to play decently enough until his a** is gone.

You are blind or just deflecting, if you claim that James and Davis playing 21 games total together all season, wasn't the single biggest factor in this disastrous season.

If Ham got him to play decently why would he need to be gone? Sounds like you just have a Westbrook problem regardless. This season was an epic failure..we can agree on that whole heartedly. Why it was so..we see a lot of things differently.

Some of it is Westbrook's fault especially in the areas I pointed out.
Some of it was the coaching staff..that's why they fired Vogel. Some of it was on the roster choices of having some old retreads expecting to be in the rotations. The more critical part of it, was having your two best players playing 21 games together scattered amongst an 82 game season. In a season where we flipped almost the entire roster and some of them started out hurt, one never played at all.Team wise I just don't comprehend how anyone can reasonably expect success considering that last part.

has Brick ever shot well from 3s in his career, has Brick ever been mentioned as a good defender or been on any all defensive team? Does Brick not avg 4+ TO for his career? Tell me again how Ad being healthly improve on any of those aspects of Bricks game?

why? you obviously already have that ability to see into future with your defense of Brick improving on all those negatives

    Frank wasn't that great tactically.

    He was average.

Let's see of Ham is any better.

I believe that I'm being more practical about the subject than you are. Maybe I just have more confidence in the abilities of James and Davis playing full time than you do. I can't judge a thing without first actually seeing the thing. Color me overly optimistic or blind Homer, it's all good. I'm sure we both want to see the squad bounce back, we have differing opinions on the how though. It's cool.

feel like the 12-15 games we saw of the three together isn't that small a sample, and it wasn't pretty. it's why lebron was trying to attach picks to trade him for wall's corpse at the deadline.

I don't care about his 3 point shooting as much as you do. It's not a requirement that he's been on some all defensive team either. Lebron avg more TO for his career than Westbrook. AD being healthy lifts the entire team because the team is built around him and Lebron. If he's bailing out like he is supposed too..why should Westbrook be shooting a bunch of 3's? He has shown to be a great facilitator throughout his career, he avg 12 last season, isn't that the main function of a point guard? I look at the purpose of why we traded for him in the 1st place. Attack and dish, push pace and create shots for his teammates. If he didn't have the weapons to work with, I suppose he would struggle in some regards. We didn't trade for him for his outside shot or defensive prowess.

How is that so? They never played more than 5 games together at all. Lebron didn't want Wall, that was media hype..they wanted Wood and were probably mad that we didn't give up the pick. That makes a whole lot more sense than John Wall. There is a team in the Finals that started off terribly with mostly a roster that had played together before, somehow turned it around. Probably because they played through it...together. They didn't call it a wrap due to a 15 game sample.

Carry what? DJ, Howard, Ariza, Baze, Bradley, Melo? Are you serious..I mean damn according to Vogel Russ played better once he started playing Reaves , Johnson and Gabriel.

that's wild speculation. what we know is that we talked with houston about wall for russ and a pick, didn't do it, and lebron freaked out (then wisely tried to cover his tracks). the wood stuff was never confirmed, but lebron's dissatisfaction was by his own behavior.

the lakers were 11-11 when all three played, btw. that's a quarter season sample of .500 ball.

carry one of lebron or AD with vet mins (as that's your only freaking option with his mammoth contract and the four role players you gave up for the luxury). he did not. at all. he was sub-replacement value this season. we'd have won more running ellington at the point.

yea you sound like the stans who tried to use his epic few months run with Was as a catalyst for Brick to turn season around once that time frame came around....Brick has never been on all def, hes been on all nba. Can you answer this, if 3pt shooting isnt important for Brick, why did coaching staff have to tell him to limit his attempts? i guess apparently Brick doesn't realize he's not a good shooter and how does ad/bron being healthy help him not miss layup attempts?

This place has become a real life Groundhog Day. Can’t wait until the Draft and Free Agency so we can talk about something else besides the objectively bad, late career Russell Westbrook

I'm a Kareem stan for life.. that's it. Team stan after that. What does all defense have to do with anything? Who declared that you had to on an All Defensive team? Can you answer this? How is he a 1st ballot Hall of Famer if his 3pt shooting was such a disqualifier? If Bron and AD were on the court making buckets, I suppose we wouldn't be talking about his shot attempts. It would be the dimes he was dishing out.

he doesn't have to be all Def but he is terrible on def how you're able to defend that is embarrassing and if 3pt shooting isnt important for a pg why does Brick take 4-5 of them a game at a 29% clip...hes future HOF for being a high lvl stat padder
