Phoenix is going to win this series, but it was fun to see them humbled for a couple games, and to see CP3 and his nonsense get him fouled out with like 9 mins left in the game.
my exact thoughts. they're going to win the next two, but they had to sweat. and paul fouling out on a classic cp3 move was gold. he just couldn't help himself from doing something ticky tack to gain a small advantage.
i agree. although several of these are the right kinds of players to put around doncic. fit and philosophy matter, and that's why dallas with no allstars aside from luka are going to play 6 games in the second round. and that's after two years of going 7 games against the fully healthy clippers (who everyone agrees is a juggernaut in all facets).
can't do both at the same time. the suns need to find ways to punish dallas for not playing anyone bigger than 6'9" 240. the issue is that their perimeter guys aren't fearsome rim attackers, imo. oh, and this may be too early, but earlier in the year, i said i didn't love paying bridges 23 million per because you can find guys who have similar impact for half that, citing dorian finney smith specifically. this is what i meant. bridges is good, but only marginally more valuable than DFS. just one is a bigger name because his team's been better and the bloggers love him. but i'd take bullock AND DFS over just bridges, and that's the same total salary. anyway, i don't see the mavs shooting the three well enough in phx in games 5 or 7 to win the series. the suns were rotating well and the mavs were just knocking them down anyway--that's what home crowds can do for role players.
Ok, am I in the right place now? Miami beat Sixers, and I think they advance. Miami and/or Boston should be fun. Phoenix up 3-2 now. Should be a fun game 6.
