    Here's a different slant that would be very Mitch and Lakers - can we trade 27, 34, and other assets (Young) to move up from 27 and hope someone slips to us at i dunno 13 or 14?

    Could Mudiay slip that far? Could we get Mudiay and Okafor?

    I can tell you this. Its not going to be to sign Ed Davis to a max deal. It will be to come out of this draft with a big and a guard and perhaps future picks...thats what im feeling.

    Funny that Karl is taking so much of the blame. Cousins' agent is the same guy that orchestrated the Dwightmare. Outside of coming out with a public statement about wanting to coach Cousins long term, there's not much Karl could have done.

    You gotta think who in that range wants to move down in the draft. Apparently there's a TON of GMs working to move UP in the draft, but we have few assets to make that happen.

    One rumored deal is the Wolves packaging early 2nd rounders to move up into the mid 20s so moving up in this draft will be extremely difficult.

    Its all part of Vlade's theatrics and proving the Cowbells cant play in the big leagues as a franchise. Their waterloo was the missed shot away from being in finals.

    Phoenix always likes to make strange deals...is there a bad contract we can take from them for their pick? (Not saying I want it but if we aren't getting Aldridge or Love...and are getting Boogie...) Aka Jeremy Lin (expiring) 2015 style?

    Maybe Alex Len? They're still kind of high on him though. They don't have a lot of bad contracts actually. They gutted the team and they'll have a lot of cap room this summer.

    I was really surprised to hear they're going after Love. How many years in a row do they need to barely miss the playoffs before they rebuild? I expected them to shop Bledsoe for picks & rebuild with Knight/Len/picks/young FA's.

    I guess they think Love is their rebuild. Love, Knight, and Bledsoe? With the Morris twins? I mean it's not the worst team in the West. They'd compete with us for those last two spots in the playoffs.
