I think they will beat out NO, but I don't think it's a sure thing. We're going to see just how much CP has left. If BI can keep up his Durant impression, they can make this a difficult series. Honestly, the Suns might want to extend this series, because the road ahead without Booker is really tough and stretching this to 7 cuts into that 3 weeks a little. A Suns-Jazz series is one that I would watch a total of 0 minutes and 0 seconds of... that's awful basketball.
yep. imagine AD doesn't get hurt against phx last year? we might repeat from the 7th seed. for real. at least make the finals.
What’s everyone’s list of teams you are rooting against? mine: 1. Sixers- F Harden! Biggest joke in nba history 2. Suns- CP3 is a flopping a-hole 3. Boston- gotta hate them 4. Brooklyn- Irrational thinkers grind my gears Everyone else is ok. Would hate to see Grayson Allen win, but he’s not really an important player so, meh.
Not sure I’ve ever seen anyone talk more who has accomplished less than Towns. On another note, the Jazz remain the biggest frauds around, now down 2-1 to the Mavs and Luka hasn’t played a game yet.
Mavs are really putting it to this regular season only Jazz squad. Brunson is going to get the entire Brinks truck this summer.
anyone but boston and philly boston for obvious reasons and philly because i couldn't stand to see harden win a ring
Definitely those 4. Harden, Doc, and Morey are possibly the my least favorite at each position held by that individual. CP and Crowder are impossible to like. Plus their little rivalry with us makes them more annoying (thanks AD for pouring gas on that). F Boston, but I like some of their players, especially their big 3. They just need to burn that jersey and get on another team. Kyrie is draining and unlikable. KD is great to watch on the court. It's his off court antics that make him unpleasant... between his media interaction and pettiness on social media. To lesser degrees, Jazz so Snyder is cut loose and Minny because Pat Bev is trash.
1. C-Bags (no explanation necessary on this site!) 2. Suns (Sarver, plus I have a lifelong antagonistic relationship with the entire state of AZ) 3. Jazz (I really really RILLY hate their fans) 4. PHI (in solidarity with the rest of yas, esp we/re/to: Beardie not winning) 5. Did I mention the C-bags? (I have nothing against any of their guys, but they ARE THE EFFING C-BAGS!!! Too much history.) Other than that, I'm cool. I've begun to actively repress memories of this Laker season. I have my own therapies, which became legal "for recreational purposes" in Nov 2016. I will not suddenly "go postal" over the Lakers season in a Quik-E-Mart, ya know? It's not worth it. I am rationally pissed off, though. I admit that. My gawd. How can you win it all, then only 18 months later...nevermind. (Breathe)
this is pretty much mine. probably in that order. i felt a little bad for minny as they choked it away last night, but memphis just letting beverly fire away and clank as his team went down the drain was some high comedy.
KAT can be a beast, but he can also be neutralized. When he stops being aggressive, that puts more pressure on Ant and D-lo. Ant was hobbled a bit, so the Wolves became too predictable.
Anyone else blown away by Desmond Bane? This guy is a f***ing beast. Great size and already an elite sniper. He's fearless. Has the physical tools to evolve into a really good defender, too. I liked his game coming into the NBA. Thought he was one of the most ready prospects to hit the ground running on day 1. But I didn't think he'd be close to *this* We could've taken him had we not traded our pick to get DS. I hated Danny Green more than most. But if I was told that sticking with him another year would have gotten us Bane, or that DS was going to walk, or that he would be a pissy a** clown while he was here, or we were going to promise him a starting role... then I would have stuck it out with Podcast Green.
i remember posting after i saw bane's highlights and bio that i couldn't believe he was projected late-first. thought he should have been lotto. was correct. but, like jsm, i didn't expect this.
