Yeah. I felt like he ran out of gas but I was only half watching the game.

Wasn't the same after the ankle. But can't afford to sit. Couple more games and it won't matter.

i'm sure he'll try to play through it because he wants kareem's record, but the right thing to do is just shut him down and start looking towards next season

Just end the season already. Bubble wrap Lebron and AD and start planning for next season

Yeah what a cursed season: limping around on a night when it looked like he was well on his way to 50 before going down. Sigh

He needs to call it. I know he’s chasing the scoring record, but he will still break it next season or the one after. He’s only going to do more damage to that ankle if he pushes through, or maybe hurt something worse, and I don’t want any Kobe achilles part 2 stuff.

With the knee and now the ankle, it's not worth it. Best case scenario we get in and get swept by the Suns and he racks up some points in the process. Worst case, he really hurts his chances of playing next to his son and has to hang it up earlier and doesn't get to the scoring record either.

right. c'mon, guys. pack it in. let the spurs and clippers battle for the right to lose to the suns in 5 games. there's no points of pride here.

He needs to take it easy. He has two more good years in him for sure, if something doesn't snap. We failed this season, it is what it is.

well, or he injured his ankle? i agree that we rely solely on his three point shot now, which comes and goes, but he doesn't turn an ankle and he might pull this one out by himself.

i think we've kind of season how the next two years will go this year. he's going to miss substantial time (20 games), and he's going to be a subpar defender. on the other hand, he can still be the focal point of a good offense from multiple spots on the floor. we need to take these things into consideration when planning the roster for the next couple of years.

100%. We know exactly what he can (and can't) bring to the table. Just put a team that actually fits around him. Give him some actual shooters and some young guys who can hustle and defend. He can orchestrate the offense for the most part and still score quite well from almost anywhere on the court. It's not like I'm saying anything new here, this is what Bron needed from the beginning and that's what we've had - for the most part - in our championship year.

Bron needs Anthony Davis to be on the court. That's what he had in the Championship year. I keep saying that Lebron doesn't really need a team built around him per se at this point of his career. What he needs is a running mate that can go out and deliver the goods every night. Let the team be built around AD, James will fill in the blanks. That's what we had, AD has been MIA for most of the last two seasons. The man is 37 years old, 18 years in, focusing on him isn't the move IMO.

i agree AD should be the focus in terms of team building, but you can serve both. and lebron has to be in mind because he gets 40% of the cap or whatever. so, by necessity, team-building must also consider him.

anyway, the good news is that young guys who want to defend work alongside both. hopefully, we've been scouting g-league, europe, and the ends of nba benches for guys that just haven't gotten the right opportunities yet.

I checked the boxscore and saw our Lebrons did not play. If only 1 of them played we wouldn't have lost this much.

Makes sense on a back to back. Both will play Friday at home, I'm guessing.
