LOL, you remembered. After watching that recent Jahlil video yesterday with him dominating and snatching entry passes one handed, I almost broke out the offer to include his jock with Randle's after practices. [IMG]

Why thank you, but where is that silly embarrassed pic CaCHooKa Man broke out when we were all giving him props for his great videos in the Media section.

can't compare the Olympic team to the current Lakers.

Where's our leadership come from? Kobe, part time, and Scott? That's it. USA team has Rose, Irving, Gay, PG13 (before getting hurt), Curry, and Harden. Then on the bench you have Coach K who is one of the most respected coaches in the history of the sport. Boeheim and Thibs backing him up -- both command and get respect.

We don't have the anything close the that presence. It's an environment in which you cannot replicate with a NBA team.

Just an FYI. I'm guessing Randle and Okafor will insist on them being hand washed...maybe with some lavender oil.

I agree we aren't Team USA and I don't think we can be. I just think there are situations in which Cousins isn't a total knucklehead. I don't want to trade for him, but I think if we DID get him, we get his head on straight and he sheds a lot of the negativity around him. Byron wouldn't let him get away with his knucklehead stuff and I think Cousins would grow up quickly surrounded by the Lakers and Kobe in a final year and Byron in his face.

@therealdeal let's look at how Scott handled our resident knuckle head with Swaggy P. If you don't buy in, you're out (Lin, Swaggy). It's a disaster waiting to happen. Scott isn't that Coach. He needs Pop or Phil.

On another note, I don't get why we're even considering this fool when we're a top 2 option for Love and LMA. if you get either of them, you are giving away ZERO assets.

I pray Mitch doesn't f*** this all to hell.

I'm not considering this trade! I've posted at least half a dozen times now how this ISN'T happening and how the Lakers AREN'T going to make the trade! :D :D

I think most people aren't reading the posts in here anymore, they're just expressing their own opinions without checking what's up. Look over the last few pages and you'll see clearly why this trade isn't happening and that very very very few insiders believe there's even a shot at this thing.

Re: Scott and Cousins/Young- apples and oranges I think. Young is just not focused. He might have ADHD. Cousins is very focused, just extremely immature. The Kings have allowed him to throw tantrums and act like a child. That's the kind of behavior that would never be tolerated here. Cousins is about respect, trust, and honestly. Byron is actually good at all those things.

Well, the Lakers have fully worked this kid out and the reports out there (whether true or not) are that he didn't impress with second workout. I trust that the lakers prob more than any other team know what to look for in a big, so if they aren't convinced I'd defer to them on whether or not to pick Russell or trade the pick for Cousins. I'm hoping Okafor is a Laker and our guy moving forward but if either of the other two options occurs I'll be OK. I do not want to see Randle packaged with the number two pick (or Clarkson).

I don't think LB has been this fiesty all year, I like it. All it took was a knucklehead a the queens to get involved.

Since yesterday they've been saying this is all a Dan Feagan (Dwight's agent who helped orchestrate the Dwightmare) orchestration. Feagan is Cousins agent.

He's been trying to use George Karl's notoriety and the Kings historic mismanagement to start a s*** storm get DMC out of there. He's doing really well.

Sounds like it. It almost worked! He almost made enough stink to get Cousins out of there... Crazy.

Makes you realize how much power the big-time agents have in this stuff. Especially with weak organizations like the Kings.

Also makes you realize how awesome we are for keeping everything tight nit and having a perennial poker face to the league. Go Mitch and Co.!

Pros and well respected in the agent circle. I think agents know better usually than to try to get that rise out of us. Not to mention organizations like Sacramento earn treatment like that. We don't.

Before we judge anything-Mitch...lets remember we bought JC for 2mil, and now we are reluctant to deal him in a package for one of the best players in the league-top 5 center...i trust Mitch that if he makes a deal, he will know how to fill up the roster.
And BTW, when we make a move nobody reports it- not even WOJ, so these is pure guessing game!
