yeah he went #8 overall to the kings in '14, the pick after the lakers took randle. a few picks ahead of lavine i believe
there was a cringe video by the King’s owner in their draft day war room forcing his FO to get Stauskas
That's what it sounded like. Don't think much of Payton, but he's a much better player than Stauskas.
I’m not one for violence, but this kid needs to get his, only way he’ll learn. You hate to see it lol
reggie jackson is MIA against the knicks tonight. 0-8 from 3 so far someone should've told him russ was playing for NY
just looked at the box score. he went from being a +44 against the lakers the other night to a -33 i guess that's what happens when you treat every game against the lakers like it's game 7 of the finals
funny thing is i think we did pursue him when he got bought out. he just chose the clippers because paul george is his friend. not sure why he has it in for us in particular.
i think the lakers came up as a possible landing spot but it was more just the usual "mention the lakers to gain leverage" than anything else. doubt they were ever seriously interested in him. pretty sure it was during the title season
it was, and folks made a big deal out of him choosing the clippers, as it was yet another sign of their obvious superiority that would pave the way toward their inevitable dynasty. then reggie did nothing for them and they got upset. but he was great for them when he came back on a minimum and has saved them from being as bad us this year, so it worked out pretty well in the end. i just don't see why he shows up so big against us. it's not like all scoring guards roast us or anything.
