I hope somebody drafts him where he really doesn’t want to play just so that we can see it all unfold

There's all this talk about Bronny. He's dropped to #34 in recruit rankings. If Lebron declines even further over the next two seasons (which at his age, cliffs can happen), and Bronny can't cut it at the next level, is there even a team that would waste draft capital to get a broken down Lebron and a player who doesn't belong in the NBA, especially with all the drama Lebron brings with him?

It's entirely conceivable that no one will want to waste a pick on a player that sucks just to get an old Lebron for one season.

draft bronny=get to host lebron's retirement tour

poverty franchises like the magic, pelicans, kings, and hornets would absolutely want that because it'd mean a boost in attendance and a massive increase in publicity

Everyone will want them. Everyone. If anyone thinks differently, they're soured and bitter about Bron's comments, behavior, or sticking us with Russ.

Think of it this way. Before MJ, the Wiz were a 19 win team and I'm not sure they had a single game on national TV. MJ goes there and a NBA senior citizen version of MJ sold out every arena and catapulted them onto national TV every week. Bron is still the most popular player, he has the all star voting numbers and jersey sales to back it.

Then write in the drama and intrigue of the first father-son pairing in the league. Whether it goes great or awful, the interest and coverage on a national level will surpass anything else the NBA has going.

Money trumps everything. They are going to make some team A LOT of money, even if it's only for 1 year.

Wouldn't it be better for Bronny to go "undrafted" and just sign with the team that LeBron is on at the time? Why does it have to be Bron GOING to the team that his son is on?

Either way - I'm OK with LeBron being out of LA - but we better make sure we get something for him and don't let him WALK for nothing.

He's already given us the greenlight that he's out of here...we better not ignore the signals this time around

    Don’t be so simplistic.
If you check my posts, I said he’s a top 5 player when healthy.
I am perfectly in bounds as a Lifetime Laker Fan to be worried about his availability moving forward based on him missing HALF of the games over the past two seasons.

I can careless if lebron dips out.

He was a tool for a championship and it was a one time use.

We just lost kobe, this man is out of his mind if he thinks we’ll be on his side.

Thank god we didn’t trade our picks for wall.

I'm sorry, have you met our front office? Letting people walk for nothing is kinda our thing.

no just read it somewhere in this thread but he must have a defacto one where he can just threaten to not show up to a team hes traded to that he doesn't like, not like he's hard up for $
