Yes. But what was the "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" about above after that very scenario was described?

I'm guessing he'd just be super relieved not to be a sacramento king.

Relax. I think the Lakers are just kicking the tires. Remember - Mitch's job could be on the line in the eye of public opinion here. He so much as said that he is spooked by the Ghosts of the MJ draft (Sam Bowie) and does not want to be making a 'mistake.' If he publicly explores trades for what would be 'perceived' (other than Anthony Davis who is not available) as the best NBA center and 'can't come up with a legitimate deal' and 'has to make a selection' - he has suitable cover for whatever Okafor or Russell become. IMHO - Russell is no Curry and is no Harden. Russell looks more like (judging by his 'talk') a Deron Williams. We have PG and guards are easier to find than a big - I think we can feel safe its going to be Okafor unless Vlade 'caves' and gives away Boogie (which I don't see happening- Sacto's got to have a name to fill the seats of the new downtown arena under construction-- Ty Lawson et al. aka Denver West).

Here's to hoping this is like all the other "big trade rumors" we've seen over the last few years..... not true.

Let's not forget Mitch has always said he would need to be blown away by a deal for them to trade the #2 pick along.

Having to also include Randle and or Clarkson is completely opposite of what Mitch wants.

I'm on board. Completely. Give me Cousins all day if it doesn't involve Clarkson/Randle. Do it, Mitchell!!!!!

Nope. That is not enough to take on the contract (limits options) and potential meltdown for me - and Im sure Mitch.

Why? Because he'd be such a role model for our young, hard working core? I hope it's not the ultimate white flag of "Kobe will keep him in check"...

This thing isn't happening. No way Mitch takes Cousins AND takes on Landry's contract.

We're in a position of complete power here. We aren't taking back a bad contract that'll limit our ability to add pieces in FA. Landry AND Cousins means we have very little cash left to spend. Mitch isn't about to give away #2 and Clarkson for Cousins and no cap room.

In the end we'll take Okafor and be glad for it. I think most of the information coming out now is to a) scare the Nuggets into moving their pieces and b) coming mostly out of Boogie's camp. Boogie wants to be here and he's going to spin things his way to try to come here.

Stop with the shortcuts. We are building the right way if we have a young core of okafor/randle/clarkson with capspace to add another impact player

Giving up multiple assets leaves us in the position the kings are in right now. If boogie hasn't made the kings a winner, we won't be any better with boogie and nobody else around him

Rondo/wade would play a max of 40-50 games

I want no part of that theyre always injured

Also in that scenario who takes a paycut? No way that works

Nope. Not at all. However, I would like to win more than 21 games. :)

No we get boned by giving up an amazing 19 year old Jahlil Okafor 5-7 years before he even hits his peak. ??? Okafor in 2 years may be better than Cousins. What if we give that up, and he goes Hall of Fame on some other team and down the road a bit Cousins "blows" over something. That is more likely IMO than Okafor not being better than Demarcus Cousins in a couple or 3 years. I don't get it.

SAC has Boogie locked up for 3 years, that removes some of his leverage. It's extremely important that Mitch is willing to walk away from this deal if it isn't right. Clarkson/Randle/Okafor is a nice core, don't blow that up and leave the team with Cousins/Kobe and nothing else.
