Anthony Davis Discussion: Only Player On Both All NBA + All Def

If he has a grade 2 or 3 that's pretty much the bulk of the remaining season. I would shut it down.

I’m officially on the “Trade AD in the Summer Train.” This dude never ceases to disappoint when it comes to health. It’s time to get something for him this summer.

I think he should stop wearing Kobe's low top shoes and wearing something like Curry with high tops and more support for his ankles.

 

Why he continues to insist on wearing the low cut Kobe’s is beyond me. He needs to wear the high top version like these:

 

it's a miracle if that ankle didn't break, even more considering it's AD.

 

Lucky we got the all-star break so he won't miss as many games.

 

Curry did a ton of work strengthening his ankles and legs in general and it has really payed off. Davis really need to a combination of yoga (like James) to prevent this groin issues plus Curry like workouts.

Don't want him to go the way of Walton and Sampson: great big men whose bodies just fell apart

I get this sentiment. I really do. I just don’t think you can do that to a guy after what he gave us in the bubble. Unless he wants to leave. Otherwise that’s terrible karma for a guy that got you a ring.

I don’t believe in karma.
The dude can’t be relied upon- especially when he takes up a third of your cap and misses large chunks of the season every single year.
It’s not personal, it’s just business.

Watched the game late on time shift and had to come to this thread first to read the “AD injury prone” posts I knew would be waiting. Very first new post after the game of course, for an absolutely brutal s*** happens type basketball injury does not disappoint. Congratulations. And of course double congratulations for doubling down along with at least one other post below have already seen peripherally (no doubt there are more than just two of them) ….. with the obligatory trade him. Damn near snapped his ankle and this is what he gets.

Along with everything else that sucks about this season, “fans” take your bows along with it all. SMH.

i feel bad for his injury but lets get real tho, shut him down, wrap him in miles of bubble wrap, dont let him play C, etc. NOTHING will prevent or stop AD from getting injured
