i think we've exhausted all trade options with him, so he's staying.

my guess is vogel's gone this week, russ is either re-inserted and featured or asked to come off the bench, and nothing changes in our general trajectory. lebron scores 30 a lot and we lose a lot.

f*** John Wall but Wood would be nice paired with AD.

 

Almost an ideal 4/5 complement to AD, switchable with range on his shot but still a big who can offload some of the defensive assignments of guys like Nurkic.
Suprising they didn't push for this (Rockets may have just have balked) as his age matches AD prime as well nicely

 

glad we were looking at stuff like this and did nothing rather than pivot for terrence ross or something.

 

I hope we pursue Wood again during the off-season. We probably balked at Wall saying, that he had zero interest in any kind of buy out. I think we would have been willing to take him otherwise. The details will come out eventually.

 

i will say that houston fans dislike wood despite his production, and that's what i noticed both in det and houston--he puts up numbers but leaves something to be desired out there. i'd still take him, but i'm not sure he's a winner.

 

That's fine, he won't be having any delusions of grandeur coming here. AD is going to catch all the heat, all he has to do is play his game, and hopefully improve it by practicing against and playing with an elite player at his position.

The more I think about it the more I hope the Crypt keeps booing the s*** out of Russ for his poor play and whoever’s coaching rest of the season continues to sit his a** for it and the defense as necessary. Ratchet the heat up. If he thinks he’s still all world Russ …. are you feeling lucky punk? Make our day in the off season and opt out since they don’t respect your greatness here. See what the other teams will pay for it. Right? Jacka** comments the other night.
