pretty much this for me. it's a little irritating to hear him talk about sacrifice, as i mentioned a few posts back. he doesn't do it.

 

He says all the right things.

What I wish he'd added: "I'm making $44 million just this year alone, and I need to start playing hard too."

 

lol same quote in game 43 that we've heard since basically game 1. "our opponents play harder". it's weird that they don't seem to understand how damning that repeated explanation is.

 

Hearing that over and over again makes me want to throw things.

 

other fans just want to throw things more than you do. the question is how to make you want to throw things to the maximum of your abilities. it's on all of us to throw things, and we just have to throw things harder than we've been throwing things.

Well he’s partially right.

He’s absolutely wrong on the “Jeanie Buss, you deserve better” part.

No she doesn’t deserve better. She is culpable in our problems.

 

And this time he'd be right, trade everyone but HBK and start anew.

 

i think he's having a hard time dealing with not being a top player anymore. you're always the last one to know.

I think the whole team is having a hard time with it: small ball was designed to maximize Russ and his "abilities". When that ability is limited to trying ploy through Aaron freakin Gordon who is bigger, stronger, and taller then you.

It's not just Russ the player, it's the design of this team to get Russ going - too small, to little defense which is just broken

 

I have to admit, it took me a second time looking at this to get it. Sometimes you can look at something so obvious and think more is there, than when you don't over think it, boom, 1 sec later, you know.
