    1. He chucks a random 3 with 18 seconds on the shot clock.
    2. He then strikes a pose as if he was Steph or something.
    3. Because of this he does not get back on defense and Hield scores without even being challenged on the break.

I honestly don't know what's going on in Westbrook's head at times. If anything.

only thing i can think of his screen setting to get switches, on or off the ball. but that's a lot of work to get the ball in the hands of one of your least effective offensive options.

My bad on my rant last night about the 2 rallies he killed that had been sparked by Reaves. I thought this was in the 4th quarter, but might as well have been as it was very end of 3rd. Two absolutely brain fart plays here because HE selfishly had to get back in the act following AR hitting multiple 3s just prior. Look at Reaves's body language throwing Russ the ball back after the in bounds pass following his stupid 3 brick and not getting back ... he seems disgusted. Then Mensa Russ doubles down and says hold my beer I can do worse and just turn the ball over without even getting a shot off the 2nd time. I'm starting to hate this em effer. Not about the team.

I dozed off in the 4th quarter. I woke up to see Russ chuck up a 3 in a display of WTF shot selection.
    Unfortunate.

I'm fine with missing on Buddy. I much prefer Monk in that role, even if Monk came at Buddy's price tag. I do however wish it would have been DD that we acquired and he was shooting that shot and Russ was still in Washington.

How about not trading, resigning Caruso, and getting Monk to replace hedgehog.
So we basically get back the core championship who were despite the glitz of LA was a gritty and fun team to watch with Reaves/Monk/Howard .

That is f***ing depressing (AD/Lebron/Howard/Kuzma/Melo/Reaves/AC/Monk/KCP/THT: unmatched ability to match up with anyone out there)

Am I insane for thinking we should swap Russ for Wall?

Mentally Russ is not ready to be a roleplayer: he's is unplayable right now against good defenses in the 4th quarter. There has to be a rank conversation with him and if he's not willing to take a backseat (his press conferences aren't suggestive of this) then I would trade him for wall.

At least you can sit Wall w/o messing with the locker room (yes Wall is also a former star but the dude is not even playing right now: you can use the rehab excuse for him)

Seems like a lateral move to me, neither can shoot or defend, contracts are almost identical, 44 mil this year, 47 mil next year. I don’t see any upside.

U can bench Wall due to injury/rehab issues. Russ u can't (addition by subtraction, don't fall for the sunk cost fallacy which is so tempting because of Russ's salary/pedigree/assets used to get him)

I feel like doing that to Wall if he were traded here would be doubly embarrassing to him, we’d be adding Russ part 2. I don’t think Wall is injured either, there’s no real excuse not to play him. And if he is still injured, hell that makes him even more untradable than Russ in the summer.
