There isn’t going to be a bad trade just to move him.

no. there's going to be a bad trade to move THT because we made a bad trade to get westbrook. but there won't be a second bad westbrook trade until summer at the earliest.

You may be right. Well, that’s what happens when you let LeGM take control.

How many open lay-ups does he miss?

I’ll be so happy when he’s gone. Whether that’s this summer, next summer, 5 summers from now, I’ll be so happy. How the hell are you an NBA player, 9 time all star, former MVP, and you can’t make a layup? Can’t take it anymore.

it's also when he misses that are so brutal.

Two of out of 3 games where a blown layup/dunk in the last 2 minutes of a 1 possession game. Just brutal

He needs to be gone this trade deadline, but this team is just dumb enough to offer him an extension for 3 years, so I’m mentally preparing for the shock that would be on my system.

I’m a bit worried about an extension too but I gotta think they pull the plug on this as soon as they can given the bad results

What are you guys talking about? He almost had a triple double tonight, so that’s all that counts! Don’t even bring up the fact that he got torched for 41 tonight. Defense doesn’t matter- it’s all about the stats, bro!

    No it’s not(wild)- ask Durant.
It was obvious to most of the educated NBA world before he was traded here.

the missed layup was really rough, but tbh, so was whatever lebron was doing down the stretch. all three of our stars haven't really lived up to the billing this year. the fact that i wanted monk to get the ball late in this game spoke volumes.

FYI, the MVP “award” is a farce. Kobe Bean was by miles the best player on the planet for EIGHT straight seasons in a row and these fools managed to give him just one.

the press hated prime kobe with the fire of a thousand suns. i often wonder what his career might have looked like if he was more popular with the press/league office. i still remember when they basically changed the swingthrough call midseason because kobe was abusing the loophole. meanwhile, years later, you get harden....

what is that? like 5 games in a row where he's missed an easy layup in a key situation?

    mindblowing

It was a rough last possession but LeBron was the only reason we were even in the game.

Outside of the missed layup which again was brutal: thought he was fine on offense. I thought he did a good job overall on the offensive side of things and created shots that only a star can create

Problem is he is just a bad defender: just no way around - AD and lebron can coast on defense but when it comes down to crunch time they are elite defensive players (lebron is getting beat more off the dribble but that to be expected against 1s and quick 2's). Russ is just not a good defender
