That's false on the passing. The guys aren't moving and cutting to the basket half the time. And Avery Bradley and Rondo couldn't throw a brick in the ocean on that chip team. Caruso either in the bubble. The point guard needs to be a good shooter stuff, got totally debunked by the Championship team.

I used to blame him for us being garbage but even if he plays well we suck azz.

The retirement home of the NBA has too many issues right now.

So many layups at the rim missed after incredible explosive moves to get there with either hand off either right or wrong foot. Guess guys clubbing him brutally :giggle: with lightweight foam cricket bats for his off season taking it to the rack practice …. isn’t the hot set up. :(

The hell are you talking about? Rondo was dropping 3s like Ray Allen during the 2020 title run and got even better in the playoffs.

Do you watch or read stuff and decide, I will write the exact opposite? You need to get a clue. Most of us on here have eyes and comprehend facts. I don't know what the hell you comprehend sometimes.

Yep Rondo shot well enough and clutch enough to re-solidify his Playoff Rondo moniker. Was huge for us.

That he did..getting old. Regular season that year stuck in my mind for some reason. Even though we won a chip. All lashes duly deserved on this one.

His BAD plays always happen at the worst times possible. Wasn’t there a similar instance just a couple weeks ago too… theres just no room for this big of an error, we have to play nearly perfect to win games

    What????
Playoff Rondo was huuuuge in the Bubble and consistently made big shot after big shot. He also was masterful in getting AD many good looks that led to scores.
    Your memory has failed you.

Sorry, the Lakers do not have bigger roster issues. If they got a good SF and serviceable big plus picks, that would be a massive upgrade over Westbrick.

this has been a huge issue to me. he's not alone (most of our guards are guilty, tbh), but he might be the most consistent offender in terms of just inattention on off-ball defense. no idea what causes it, but oconnor (who's wrong, like, almost always) is probably correct in that i'm sure every coach has tried to make this stop.

This has been an issue for many years now.

He's one of the most athletic guards ever but he has very poor IQ.

^ watch to the end for this one to see. He really has no grasp on how to play team defense.

This is from his tenure so far as a Laker

He reminds me a lot of Artest from 2009/2010. Lot of good and lot of frustratingly bad plays. But Ron was humble enough to be teachable and make adjustments. Even though he made some really bad plays ultimately there was more good than bad. Right now we need Russ to not double down on what he usually does but instead play smarter. But he's stubborn and incredibly prideful. Good luck Lebron
