this kind of sums up your position and not in the positive way you think? it's why you think drummond is good and caruso is replaceable. and it misses a big point.

one story was caruso was just useful cuz lebron. that's been debunked REALLY HARD. now it's that caruso couldn't beat phx by himself or something? or that tiers of role players exist, but only at the bottom end? i can't keep track of the weird stories we're telling ourselves to absolve the front office/lebron for some pretty poor decisions.

A half an assist and 6 points a game, over a 6 game series, are simply not good enough numbers for a major impact player bro. Kcp and Kuz putting up 6 points a piece in that series wasn't acceptable either. More so for them, because they both averaged more minutes a game.

Trying to spin it into...well it's not really about the numbers is some nonsense. Whenever I point this out, I get this attempt to lecture me about...intangibles, impact beyond the box score etc. I know about all that, I'm not new to basketball. I don't think that overrides the low numbers tho.

I always said that Caruso was a star in his role, that's not enough for some people. I'm still underrating his true impact! Whatever..
Drummond was better than Gasol's sorry a** IMO, and we could use him now, but he has nothing to do with Caruso.

Useful due to Lebron?....I said James could play with anyone. That James guy is a pretty fair player on his own you know?

Caruso couldn't beat Phoenix by himself...dont know where the hell that one came from...but 6 pts and 1/2 an assist ain't killing it. And yeah all the players are ranked in tiers to me. These G leaguers, and out of the league players are not even on the list. I ranked KCP over Caruso as a role player. That was some kind of gross ,disrespectful act to some folks too.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We disagree. I commend Rob for making a bold move. It hasn't work out yet, but the season isn't over. Alex was very popular, I get it, I don't get the irreplaceable part though.

Merry Christmas to all! Hopefully we can get a win today!

no one can use drummond, who's still worse than semi-retired gasol. just like he was last year. box score stuffing is so 90s.

caruso's better than all players on our team except the ones paid 40 million per. honestly, so are kuz, trez, and maybe even kcp!

them not beating phx without AD has zero bearing on the argument.

Great your opinions are noted . Hopefully Kuz, Kcp and Trez can help Washington. Good luck to them all. None of them are here, and none of them will be back. I'm cool with moving forward.

kuzma's playing worse than he was last season. his shooting numbers are way down and so are his advanced stats. he's the one guy i still wouldn't take back

I would have been totally fine with trading the guys we lost, if we were getting players back that actually fit with LeGM and AD.
Losing Alex is still stupid, no matter how many times someone brings up the tax hit. I get it, but the Lakers are a world wide brand that haven’t been hurting for money since the late 1970s and guys like Alex aren’t easily replaced.
Anyhow, I hope everyone enjoys a Merry Christmas!

Welcome to the Western Conference. It's a blood bath not the JV (L)eastern Conference

The "Old man" still has a little juice left. He's about to start barking at his teammates in private though. He's getting that look in his eyes.

With Kawhi and Denver injuries. West is not like it used to be (thrown in AD I guess)

Eastern conference is stronger this year

I was actually somewhat encouraged tonight. I don't like losing, but we added a guy with some height on the perimeter. It's about time. I don't like this small ball without AD. Yes Lebron makes it work for a stretch, but this is a bad strategy IMO.

Johnson isn't some magic cure, but if we can get a few minutes out of him, Ariza and Reaves sprinkled in with Lebron. I can stomach this small stuff a little more. Melo should never..never..never ever, be the only big on the floor. That look sucks.
