It may not have bothered you, but were headed for more decades of not winning titles before LeBron signed. I feel like some fans don’t realize how hard it is to win a title. There are currently 11 franchises that have never won one. Imagine taking a player who gets you a ring and puts you in contention for one every season if healthy for granted to that degree.

So is like, Wilt Chamberlain not a true Laker as well? He played 5 years with us, won 1 ring, LeBron is in year 4 with us and signed for a 5th, 1 ring so far…

I don’t really see LBJ and wilt on the same level… wilt played basketball, when LBJ goes somewhere he brings his circus with him … I never wanted LBJ in lakers jerseys, I felt like we can discover our own Next superstar on our own rather than signing LBJ … but we got him anyways … I really don’t have any strong likes or dislikes about LBJ … I feel like he uses anything he can to promote himself and just higher up his own campaign … wilt never did that .

Boston drafted freakin Jaylen Brown and Tatum: two absolutely dynamite picks and picked up Kyrie Irving a guy who outdueled Steph Curry in the playoffs and they haven't even gotten to the Finals let alone won one. It's really hard just to get to the FInals let alone win one

I feel the same way. Many of my coworkers and friends are long time hardcore Laker fans and this is how we fell about LBJ and AD. These dudes ain't about the purple and gold.

Right. Imagine being Boston-level bad as a historic franchise like ours. Since 1987 1 title and 2 finals appearances. You can say you’re fine with not going there or not winning for a while, but let’s see what you’re saying as a spoiled Lakers fan with 1 title and 2 finals appearances in 34, 35 years. LeBron saved us from that for at least a while.

Some unreal takes here in my opinion but to each their own I guess. I wasn’t a Lebron fan at all, I was a critic. But as soon as I sniffed out that he was coming here and he donned the P and G I’ve been a fan. He’s rescued our franchise from the abyss and I’ll always respect and love that. Kobe could see it coming and that’s why he advised Jeannie to clean house in the FO. Jimbo and Mitch would never have been able to get Lebron here. Every day I am thankful as a Laker fan that Lebron is here as well as AD and that our franchise has renewed its relevancy and tied up the chip count with the hated ones. I’m looking forward to the continuing pursuit of number 18.

Posting two of the biggest ball sacks in sports to make a point gives you little credibility.

I wasn’t just a critic, I was a LeBron hater, I didn’t want him anywhere near this team. But when you come to our franchise when no other star will and win a title in your 2nd year here, things change.

Yeah I remember Weezy and I was pretty much in that same boat as you probably recall. But yes all that changed when he came here. And thank goodness he did.

Nah, I’ve watched nearly every game(televised)of every season since 1986.
I’m just not into how LeGM handles things.
Sure, the Bubble run was fun- the rest has not been.
Y’all can love LeGM- that’s your prerogative.
I have rooted for him since coming here, but this Westbrook debacle, along with teaching AD that it’s okay to coast throughout the regular season caused me to lose respect for him.

I don’t get your train of thought, there aren’t any more seasons left for Lebron to scratch. He is approaching 20 years, every season could be his last so you got to go for it.
