Maybe Vogel can figure out how to work with Westbrook and James moving forward. Trying to figure out how to work with 3 was a bit complicated I suppose.

 

Par for the course these last two seasons. At least when the injuries occurred last year, we had a discernible, contending caliber ceiling after the hot start. This year we're a .500 team which hasn't improved since the opener, ranking 24th in ORtg against the easiest schedule in the NBA. AD will be out much longer than four weeks given our experience with "timelines", and who knows what happens during and after that? Does Lebron get injured like last year's stretch without AD? Does AD reinjure himself if we again crawl into the playoffs?

... and it happened literally the first game Ariza was dressed on the bench. The Bubble Tax is a sick joke at this point.

Not a bad MRI overall. Not a full tear, not the meniscus so should be a full recovery.

Should have enough time to get good conditioning before the playoffs.

 

Is a partial tear an injury that would need surgery eventually in the offseason?

 

Meh..those guys last year were terrible. With Lebron they were a borderline lottery team. That's why they all got moved...I'm interested in seeing what Russ and Lebron can do unleashed. I absolutely don't miss last year's group at all. Maybe Alex because he was impactful in his minutes. The rest...good riddance...they are still losing wherever they went right now.

 

honestly, the way we use AD on offense (and basically pawn the entire defense off on him and only him), i'm expecting minimal impact. yes, i know the AD haters (like, 85% of the forum) are like "of course!", but i'm sorry: this team isn't built with him in mind. at all. i think we'll be similarly mediocre with him out. better offensively, and worse defensively.

that doesn't mean he's not a superstar. it means we didn't build a roster to maximize him, so he's the most expendable.

not a crap deal, imo. 28 other teams or more would trade places with us. lol, towns, russell, and beverly have to go to sleep with last night being the highlight of their season.

 

your commitment to this narrative borders on comical at this point. we made a mistake with the russ trade. it shut the door on your man lebron's title-chase. it's ok to just admit it and move forward.

We are just reporting what we see. We don’t hate the kid- we just wish that he would be as passionate about the game as we are.

 

Maybe you just don't have any of this "heart" folks talk about. It should apply to fans too. My man is whoever is the center piece for my team. Right now that would be James. The Lakers title chase is more important than Lebron's legacy..I don't really care about that...well only as it applies to my squad. You can give up if your like...I'll go down with the ship I guess. I'm a homer..it's all good.
