Anthony Davis Discussion: Only Player On Both All NBA + All Def

He was great in year 1...top 5 great, because he was injury free. They should have say him down to start last season imo. This season you put him at the most physical position to play in the NBA? Well..this season isn't over, so I guess we can compare how many games he ends up missing, in comparison to other top 5's

 

I see why Anthony Davis doesn't like to play the 5. He's soft on defense and gets injured too much. I don't mind AD playing the 5. AD playing the 5 in the playoffs got the Lakers win a NBA Championship. BUT he didn't play a lot of minutes the 5. Only in the 4th quarters. So I don't mind him playing at the 5. Just not too much of it. Just wait until the 4th.

 

So if I have this right we would only be talking about him being soft and having no heart because KAT was making shots in the post with good moves while being bigger and stronger.

Instead of also complaining again that he’s injury prone …. because he happened to land on someone’s foot and roll his ankle pretty good as shown by the camera and also had LeBron knock someone off balance who rolled into his stationary knee?

 

FACTS.
I’m tired of all the excuses.
The fact remains: AD has played way too passively for supposedly being our second best player and needs to get his head right. We have all witnessed him play dominated basketball on both ends of the floor. If it’s strictly health related, then he should sit. If his body is(was) at 90%, then he needs to find a good therapist who can help him find out where he left his love of the game at.

 

You and I know this isn’t just about last night. This has been an existing problem since the start of last season.

I don’t hate this idea- if we end up keeping Grant long term. We definitely need more youth/speed/length on the defensive end.
