    Great news. We should be able to beat up on them since they're without Edwards and Prince. At the same time, I thought that about a Luka-less Mavs and it took AR-15 heroics to keep that from double OT.

    I expect Westbrook to carry the offense more and I think he will do great. I have confidence in him to be productive and give us a shot to win many games for the next 6 weeks until AD returns.

    Meanwhile, in the world of TEAM basketball, the Los Angeles Lakers have only beat three teams over .500.
    Let’s raise a banner for Russ’ accomplishments so far. Oh wait, we don’t do that in Lakerland. We are all about the TEAM’s success. Individuals only get their jerseys raised, and the rare few, get awarded a statue after they have led multiple TEAMS to Championships.

    These things are all true, but all indications are his play is improving with his new team. The results aren’t there yet, and there a myriad of debatable reasons why, but it appears he should not be the designated scapegoat at this time.

    We wouldn't be talking about Westbrook's play at all if he made half the salary which allowed us to keep Caruso and sign a couple competent wing defenders that could shoot even 37% from three. Westbrook is OK on the court.
