Let’s see if Russ and AD can carry us to a 4 game winning streak.

It's 10 days max: if he's asymptomatic which is highly possible since he's vaccinated he could get back with 2 days of negative PCR tests.
He was positive today so I'm hopeful for 5 days - probably wait a day or two to retest and then hopefully 2 negative days afterwards

problem is the boosters don't guarantee protection against asymptomatic infection, which is what's going to shelve lebron another 4 games.

i understand we've got to live lives and such, but if you don't want your season to go all the way down the drain, make sure you're taking as many precautions as possible this year.

don't get my message confused: i'm pro-booster, etc. i just hope other guys on the team see this and think carefully about, say, hitting the clubs after the game or something.

Good hopefully his PCR testing will quickly turn negative and he can be back much faters then 10 days.
Maybe a blessing in disguise to get that abdominal strain fully healed up as well

That's a good point. If there are any lingering injuries, now it's time to fully heal and get that explosiveness back.

If the NBA ( and societies overall) keep putting vaccinated people who got covid in quarantine , it will be the same situation 10 years from now .

? I don't get what you are saying here. Vaccinated only means that you shouldn't, get as sick as you would ,if you were unvaccinated. What does being quarantined have to do with 10 years from now? Fully vaccinated people can still pass Covid-19 on to someone else.

i think he's saying it's time we accept that covid will be around forever and start treating it like we would any kind of flu

That will eventually happen. Most likely. But even if he had a flu, you probably would not want him around your other players, and he would not be able to play or contribute much anyway.

Covid is much more deadly than the flu though. It's killed a lot more people in the US and world wide. I wouldn't consider them as similar.
