I think his thumb is bothering him personally: he's airballing layups we've seen him make with ease the last few years

Happy Birthday to THT, only 21 years old today. He’s going through some struggles, but the potential absolutely there.

Don't know. I don't see it, TBH. I see OOC drives and shaky shot.

He’s struggling. Not sure what it is, if he reinjured the thumb or not but that’s four very bad games in a row.

I thought he played a good game particularly defensively against the Kings
A couple of bull in a china shop plays but otherwise thought he should have played him

Looked a lot better than he had the past few games and his finishing ability improved. Maybe the thumb is feeling better

Shooting percentage still wasn’t great, but he looked good tonight overall, some really solid defense too.

He played well till the last couple of threes
    1) just a bad shot he didn't need to take 2) blown wide open: he needs to hit those

Otherwise got to the basket, hit an open 3, made good passes, and played very good D IMO.

In the past two games he's looked like either the possible thumb re-injury is better or he's getting out of whatever funk that was.

The defensive stand where he forced the jump ball was impressive.

Those ill-advised 3s... he's been around Bron and AD too long.

I was thinking the same thing about the 3’s. Bron thinks it’s a good shot, so it must be ok lol.

To me his stroke still doesn't look good enough. The movement is inconsistent and kind of cluncky. It also looks different from time to time, which is the number 1 priority of good shooters...a consistent stroke.

But he plays better D than most of our "wings" and has a wide frame with long arms. He doesn't bring the necessary length but a championship team should have a couple of 6'9'' defenders...we don't. I don't know how much Ariza has left in the tank when he returns but we definitely need another tall wing defender.

if we play Giannis, KD et al...we will be owned in a very bad way.

Giannis owned AD, so... I doubt there is a player in the world, save for Dennis Rodman mummy, that can stop him.

well, if he's allowed to commit offensive fouls, no, nobody can.

Yuck! Worst Laker on the court tonight... even worse than Baze.

    The decision making was terrible.

Gotta do better, especially with Bron out.

Kid might have a high ceiling but he sucks. I hate "projects", don't have the patience for it.

It's tough to say but you could tell immediately last night he didn't have "it."

My guess is he needs to settle down a bit. The team got rolling as soon as he sat last night.

still thinking (maybe hoping) that it's partially the thumb. would not at all be surprised to find out he needs a second surgery is trying to delay it until the summer.
