Yeah. We are posting those too. There’s a lot of bad to go around right now.

I'd suggested just promoting Handy last night.

Again, the premise is that Frank is going to get fired.

    I don't want that.

I don’t think some magical motivator is on the way.

I do think someone on the staff needs to figure out a working offense. When the roster was announced, bringing in someone to help figure out an offense seemed like a good idea to a vocal group of us regular guys, smart guys on Twitter, random talking heads on tv, etc etc. just based on the line up we weren’t going to be defensive juggernauts but with multiple hall of famers, if you put together a good offense and at least a sound defense then hey, maybe this can work.

Instead, the folks who are supposed to know basketball based on their salaries added Fizdale and right now we stink on both ends of the floor.

But yeah, the problem is fan complaints. Unless it’s about Westbrook because he’s this year’s whipping boy. It’s okay to pile on him.

Heavy is the crown or whatever other cliche you want to use here. Fan commentary right nor is just a reflection of what we all are seeing on the floor. There is a simple way for them to get the fans off their back. Win games especially against bad teams.

who is picking our staff? I was under the impression the front office picks them. Do you know if that’s true?

I don’t hate that, with Handy, certainly more receptive to it than Fizdale who hasn’t seemingly done jack for the offense either, but with an “interim” tag on him until proves himself, what kind of juice would he or anyone else have in this political minefield of a roster?

    Exactly.

I mean: I still think Fiz would get the gig, but whatever.

The thing is, we don’t even need an offensive savant, we just need to run A LOT more PnR. The iso and post-ups with zero off ball action are painful to watch. The team just needs to apply some incredibly basic basketball concepts. I like Vogel and think he was dealt a tough hand, but you’ve gotta do better than the iso ball that is dependent on Lebron hitting 30 ft shots to win games in OT.

I like Vogel, and appreciate his work during the championship run getting the team to play serious D. But, he is clueless on his lineups and rotation. And for whatever reason, this team is not responding well to him. It won't be the first time this team has fired a championship coach because he could not figure out how to play to our star's strengths. Old heads will remember when we fired Paul Westhead for a guy that had zero head coaching experience... Pat Riley.

My pick for the new head coach, and I'm serious: Jared Dudley.

You know what? I am with you on this one. Including the Dudley suggestion. I’d even make Rondo assistant if that was possible.

LOL. They don’t want DJ starting (understandably) but then b**** about AD at the 5 and how we suck with defense and rebounds because we’re too small. Howard should start? Same thing with Bradley, who else these geniuses got that have any semblance of good recent defensive history and fundamentals on this roster, save for the 6’6” rookie …. to try to guard the point.

Here's my opinion and you've said this, too: for AD to be successful @ the 5, he needs solid peremiter defenders around him who are strong @ the point of attack and know there assignments with the ability to execute them defensively.

Cranjis has pointed out that Frank has done an excellent job optimizing what we have defensively with our defensive personnel.

    We're in quite a canadrum.

    Yes, for certain.

Although, our defense stinks, you can only do what you can with what you have.
