LVBD, did you mean to say exactly what your first sentence says? That every single report (what’s that? article written by someone?) …. that you have read says his job “is on the line” to where he could be fired like at any time now?

i wonder if lebron nominally playing the 5 might be the answer when we go small. almost sounds like it helped engage him defensively?

No, I haven't seen a report that indicates is job is on on the line.

We don't know if it ever will be; I think he's pretty secure here this season and next.

    I don't know.

What I do know he's the smartest guy on the team and a completel savant on the court.

As he mentioned, his ability to call out coverages, knowing what sets bare coming, help out us in an advantageous situation on a where it's much needed with our defenders.

Also, Kudos to Vogel for going small and going outside the box of his comfort zone.

Running inverse screens for our shooters really helps...

"there is also rising buzz in coaching circles about the pressure mounting on Frank Vogel given the Lakers’ worrisome 10-10 start … given L.A.’s lack of flexibility to make roster changes."

Looks like Frank may be the scapegoat for LeGM’s, AD’s, and Rob’s bad roster decisions this summer.
    So stupid.

Screw Haigen and Stein too if all these guys are trying to ratchet up pressure from the sidelines on Vogel.

This roster can't defend so bring an offensive minded coach who will start : Bron-Ellington-Monk-Melo-AD and let it fly.

This season is a lost cause so f*** it let's have fun

This team has no other ace up their sleeves than firing Vogel.

Yup. I think Vogel ends up getting fired soon, but it will be an act of desperation. Fizdale sure as hell is not going to solve all our problems.

If any game is gonna have repercussions, it’s this game.

I also don’t disagree with this

And that’s what will happen. 71-134 Fizdale will be named interim coach if you all that want Vogel fired get your wish. If he had any great answers to the roster problem and unavailability of key rotation players in virtually all our games ….. common sense says his input has already been received. Firing this good coach, flaws and all, mid season is not a solution and shouldn’t happen.
