    No, he can't start.

Why not give him free reign and let him play with the bench?

Slot him @ the 1 or the 2. Stagger his mins with Reaves/Monk and let him create or be a secondary creator band nail Rondo down to the bench.

right. we're so concerned with simulating lebron that we trade half the roster for westbrook, then we play them together mostly...and add THT to it.

THT needs to be given some reps as the primary offensive engine against second units, imo. send him out there with AD, melo, dwight, and whichever shooter is hot.

that's good d by middleton in that clip, too. he could make his life easier by using his left to finish sometimes.

More THT = Better chance of Lakers winning games. Its very rare that we have a player who is developing AND gives us a better chance of winning games. Keep playing him and keep putting him in spots where he can succeed.

I think he should be our 6th man and play heavy minutes handling the ball. He has the potential to one of the top 6th men in the NBA

His contract was never 47 million so that's not true. Only the Lakers would take that on. The Wizards were his last small-market stop @ these prices. No GM is going for him until he's off this contract.

The idea of someone matching 47 mil in players for Westbrook is insane.

any 1 is tradable, look at Wall....just a matter of what we can get back, it probably wont be as good as what we gave away (not that those 3 were great either)

    yeah, disagree.

there are other bad contracts. if we're willing to take on years, we could move russ.

again, i'm hoping it doesn't go that way.

why is this in the THT thread?

anyway, THT is good but needs to develop his off hand at the rim. didn't he get blocked by a small because of it last night? that kind of thing will happen more and more as the scouting report circulates.

Man he went from 4th man to 12th man in the snap of the fingers.

Can't have 0'fers if you're starting and filling in for Bron.

    3 things:

I think another pointed out that playing him at SF is hurting him. He's a natural 2 who can switch

Also teams are now scouting/gameplanning: he's got to adjust to what teams are doing.

Last one conditioning is off: he's been short on a lot of shots I think he can normally make

fell flat on his face on the biggest stage of them all at MSG...fairly sure he'll bounce back but Frank needs to bring him off the bench probably and let him run with the second unit...the problem is...that would require us going back to Baze as a starter?

He had two good games to start and then 3 very bad ones. We have to remember he is a young kid still and needs time. But the calls to have the ball in his hands over some of the vets was overblown.

THT has been horrible these last three games. Not just bad but terrible. 0 for 8 tonight and awful turnovers as well. The other night he was 0 for 6.
