We still have a chance this year, if he can come back and remain healthy.

Lebron is still that dude. Cap won a Finals MVP at 38.

Just like didn't happen with Kobe with Byron Scott, we're not seeing Frank Vogel manage Lebron's minutes appropriately for his age and mileage. Father time is undefeated. Give him a chance to make it to the playoffs fresh and healthy. If you start to see too many nagging injuries pile up, you have all the evidence you need to start to manage the workload.

Cap was known for cadillacing ALOT during the last half of his career. Playing center, no twitter and being in tape delays 15 years of his 20 years kept the pressure off him. If Kareem were playing now, his laziness would have been called out loudly and he would have likely retired earlier. Only reason why he kept playing as long as he did was because he was terrible at managing his money and was a massive ahole to people so his job prospects were limited after retirement.

Lebron controls the game when he plays. He is Karl Malone with ball handles and faster speed. He can not continue to play 35 min a game all year and have him fresh for the playoffs. He's been playing for 19 years plus another 3 years of playoffs.

we have to get those minutes down to 32 if at all possible. maybe THT being back and doing well can do that.

This is his load management. He will miss half the regular season games. A bubble wrap year.

we saw what fighting for the 7 seed gets you last year. he needs to play as many games as possible.

We have one thing going for us tonight: DEN-DAL game. That is - if we can win against Chicago, of course.

I am 99% convinced Bron could play if him and the coach thought it was important. But they obviously want the team to gel without him and to get as much rest as possible. There's no way this is a significant injury.

And yet Lebron is still that dude IMO and Cap won a Finals MVP at 38.

I don't think we need Lebron to play 35 minutes a game in the regular season. That's not what I meant by " that dude". I'm probably in the minority here, but I think this team is loaded once everybody is healthy. I expect it to start being obvious around Christmas. Lebron is the closer IMO, especially in the playoffs. That's why I referenced Kareem. I believe we can win at least two more chips before James is done. We miss his leadership on the court, I'm not looking for him to have to put up big numbers, I'd rather see his assists go up and points decrease some.

I don't really think so. I think Vogel is feeling the heat of this current sh!tshow. Might get fired if things aren't improved till Christmas.

There is no guarantee everybody will be healthy at one point though .

Lebron better come back soon , 8-7 with 12 games at home and many against bad opponents is BAD

I don’t think we are loaded but we are not the total s*** show that is people are saying we are. I have no idea at this point how good or bad we will be come spring but I do know if you add the amount of new faces we did and the injuries we have had, it’s not going to be a pretty product on the court.

I think we're pretty good and deep when healthy. I'm sure of that, in fact. The only problem is... are we ever going to be (mostly) healthy?

I also think we’ll be good when we get more guys back. It’s going to take some time to play well as a team but that’s what the regular season is for. With better health though we need to push up to a top 4 seed if possible.
