Doesn’t sound like it’s all rainbows and unicorns in the C bag world.

Sounds like Smart will be doing the smart thing, looking for a new team, leaving more minutes for that other guy.

He's right , Tatum-Brown is like a cheap version of Kawhi-PG13 , they aren't very good at creating for others .

However I wouldn't pass the ball to Marcus Smart , a long time professional bricker either .

I’m told Tatum is an alpha superstar whom all should emulate and covet.

Yes, but the Pelicans instead settled for Potatum.

Right point. Wrong messenger. You can't shoot in the 20s and tell your stars to pass.

honestly, kidd shouldn't make it through the season. dallas has managed to somehow become a bad offense while they employ luka doncic. that's on the coach.

we're currently 11th in offense, which isn't far off from where we've been of late. we've creeped back up to 16 on defense, which is still not at all where we need to be, though. i still blame the FO/our stars' whims for our problems more than vogel, as i'm sure he would have pushed for more defenders. hell, he's had to insert our last minute waiver wire pickup ahead of one of our prized acquisitions over the summer just so that we didn't stay in the bottom of the league defensively. on offense, you can only do so much with AD at the 4 and a non-shooting, non-passing center on the floor for 16+mpg.

kidd, on the other hand, has taken basically the same roster that was like, record-breakingly good (#1 two years ago, #8 last year--though with similar ratings; had a few teams break the metric last year) and turned them into the #24 ranked offense in the league so far. and that's without doing much of anything for their defense (#18 vs #21 last year).

i'd say his seat should already be fairly hot. i'm guessing he'll scrap whatever he thinks they're doing for an offense and go to luka ball by the 20-game mark. and he will have lost several games for not just going with the chalk from the beginning.

"responded" with a win against the league's worst team.

woj said in the clip the meeting "wasn't terribly productive and maybe not even beneficial". gotta wonder who the source is.

i actually like tatum and brown (and smart a little bit, too), but i got very tired of the press touting boston, so i'm enjoying this upheaval and disappointment.

Might as well go ahead and call him former owner. Don't think he can or should survive this one.
