Honestly just looks great out there. Would have been fun to see the bubble team put together with a few tweaks like Barnes or Hield added. AD just seems more comfortable with a guy like Dwight in the lineup as well; they both can cover each other and lob to each other that he's in a comfort zone Also a bit annoying when Melo and Russ miss him when he got a small guy pinned with no one between him and the basket. Those are about the easiest And1 opportunities and these guys are choosing to try mid range jumpers
If you want to stay, get your s*** together. -Barked at teammate for an impossible ask based on the rotation and players on the court. -Got pissy with 'Do for not being able to get him a good enough entry pass after Dwight committed an offensive foul. - Got over aggressive with CP3. Actually liked the extra shove because I hate CP3, but that was a bad play for the team. - ignored AD during a timeout and resulted in a bench altercation which will be the most played Lakers highlight until our next game. AD doesn't get into it with teammates, so I'm looking at you Dwight. Dwight is an irritant, but it has to be focused and restrained. If he can't do that without the pressure of a non-guaranteed contract, cut him and sign Boogie or Okafor. I will give him credit for addressing the media first, trying to squash this.
Did anyone pick up on what Dwight allegedly screwed up on out there (defense am assuming) that AD had to get all in his face about on national TV? Bad look and bad decision AD. Especially when your performance out there against Crowder wasn't exactly demonstrating for the team how it's supposed to be done on D.
yeah...have you ever seen AD get into it with a teammate before last night? feel like there's stuff we don't know.
I'm sure we'll hear about it from them relatively soon. I know there's a better way of communicating about missed assignments than that. But no, don't cut Dwight, please.
I'm not siding with anyone. Stuff happens. I'm just laughing at the other suggestions if we cut bait with Dwight, which won't happen. IMO
The only reason I blame AD more is because he put his hands on Dwight. If things are already heated, that’s a sure fire way to make them explode. I do hold both of them responsible for the incident though.
This is a tough one: Dwight has a history of antagonizing teammates but he was by all accounts awesome for both the Lakers and 76ers as he finally expected his role. Add in AD was playing like a b**** and put his hands on Dwight not the other way around and from the little evidence we have both are in the wrong but ADs get far more of the share here
Is AD really a natural “leader”? Or trying to be one because it’s expected at his salary level or LeBron’s urging him to be? Either way he blew it here. Nobody seems to even know what Dwight did or didn’t do, and AD was sucking on D against Crowder, and wants to bark at Dwight and put his hands on him?
